Flyers goalie Michael Leighton has a bulging disc in his back and will miss a month, while forward Ian Laperriere is out indefinitely with post-concussion syndrome. Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren made the announcements Tuesday. Holmgren says Leighton will not need surgery and should be fine with rehabilitation and rest.
