I have just begun a deeper study of Isaiah, and I am so excited about it. Even more excited to find your post! I am reading Isaiah for Dummies by John Bytheway; it has been very helpful.
Thank you for posting this, hopefully I will have more to add in a few days. I am just beginning. I have one question: Where is this "new translation" of Isaiah that you mentioned in your first post? Thank you.

Isaiah words the Great
The "new translation" was done by Avraham Gileadi. It is contained in a couple of his books.
However, they are pretty much out of print.
