I last played Gears of War 2 in 2009, so it's fair to say that as I loaded up the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta my multiplayer skills were going to be rusty. Very rusty. Ref. Source 3

Gears of War 3 - Epic Games is the second time in a row trying to make the main Xbox-thriller with something more than spontaneous meat grinder mixed with fire-show. At this time the developers specifically redraw the characters face, and a leading designer studios in a conversation about the story draws a parallel with "Pulp Fiction".

War Gears

I have played Gears of War 2 and can tell you nothing I did not like about it. I think it is a safe bet at this point from what I have seen that Gears of War 3 is going to deliver. In my view the franchise is a serious competitor for the first person shooter. I would think long and hard between buying Modern Warfare 3 or Gears of War 3.

In the end I think I would go with Gears of War.
