SWAT Standoff Ends at Foreclosed House near L.A.:
A man who may have been despondent over facing foreclosure barricaded himself in his Los Angeles-area home late Wednesday, leading to a overnight standoff with a SWAT team and Los Angeles police, but surrendered peacefully Thursday morning. Ref. Source 4

House Foreclosed Ends Standoff
This just shows how bad this is getting. I foresee many more foreclosures in the near future. I think the market is going to be flooded with vacant homes that the banks will be trying to get off their hands as soon as possible. It could be a real steal for some people with money.
