The Game Master says...

GM: For each movement please keep rolling against Speed. To make things fast I rolled for you under the Community's D100 (Standing D100) - you got 90.

As Shifter reaches for the backpack the woman turns around and stands in shock by your presence. She squints to ensure her eyes are not deceiving her and now looks like she is about to say something.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says...

Without saying anything Shifter darts out and heads for the entrance. A harrowing scream can be heard emanating from the room you just left. Everyone in the corridor in front of the door immediately look in your direction. Some are confused and not sure what to do while a couple are well poised and prepared as they raise their crossbows in your direction.

Krusten and Assassin don't have time to react yet.

GM: There is a new attribute that was added to the Character Sheet that you all don't have yet: combat skill. Each of you should roll a D100 and I will add it in. You will be able to use this skill for hand to hand combat if not choose what you wish to do.

The Game Master says...

GM: First, on your Character Sheet you all will now see a "Secondary" Skill. This is not a super hero power but a regular skill you can use in combat. In the case where your skill requires a weapon you will need to have that weapon to use the skill effectively. PlayByPost - I rolled on your behalf.

Shifter tries to go forward despite the immediate threat and he is unsuccessful as crossbow's bolts fly towards you hitting you and bring you to a halt. Some of the persons gathered at the door are women dressed the same way as the woman who was in the room - they scream and try to run past you. The men with crossbows come towards you casually while yelling out for others to come.

Meanwhile...

Krusten is shocked by the sudden sounds from within and feelings of anxiety, fear and anger.

Assassin tries to think hard and suggests to Krusten to use her speed to run, get momentum and use the speed to jump up to the next floor if he looks for something for her to push off on.

GM: Shifter takes -10% to his attributes. Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says...

Assassin assumes a position to help Krusten use her speed and leap off to the top of him to get to the first floor. She does so easily due to her immense momentum.

In the building, Krusten zips around very fast and the one man armed with crossbow upon seeing her drops his crossbow, goes down to the floor and says something while worshiping in her direction.

Meanwhile...

Shifter with injured legs attempts to go past the men.

GM: Rolled for you as you included no rolls.

Amazingly, the super hero in Shifter gets to where the men are and shoves them out of the way and begins top open the door but once done he is hit again.

GM: Shifter has -10% to his attributes. Make sure to track these. Your stats are now temporarily:

Strength: 49
Speed: 58
Intelligence: 58
Charisma: 65

Assassin is surprised to see the door open and Shifter in a bloody mess.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says...

With no resistance you take the man's crossbow. Its actually the modern version and not the archaic.

The man remains bowed on the floor but this time even prostrates himself covering his head in what seems to be protection against you hurting him. You raise him while he winces and speaks in a language you do not understand. You can see he is sorely afraid of you and does not even dare look you in the face.

Meanwhile...

Assassin attempts to help Shifter as the crossbow men get ready to fire. Its a difficult decision. If Assassin pulls Shifter out of the doorway they may close back the door while on the other hand might leave him helpless to the arrows.

GM: If you both attempt to move roll against speed there is -20% penalty at the moment because of your positions in relation to escaping.

Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says...

Assassin tugs on Shifter trying to avoid some arrows but Shifter is unusually slow with his injuries and takes another round of damage.

GM: -10% to Shiter's attributes.

Meanwhile...

Krusten comes down the steps behind the fearful man. The man raises his hands and with open palms talks with all those around saying something in a language you do not understand. Immediately you are amazed to see everyone stop, drop to their knees and start worshiping Krusten as she comes down the stairs.

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says...

Neither of you are doctors and can do little for such wounds, Shifter will need medical attention soon.

Meanwhile...

Krusten asks who can speak English to which one bowed person raises her hand as though she is afraid and says while shivering,

"I can... Most holy one..."

GM: Say what you wish to do now.

The Game Master says...

Krusten inquires about what the knowledge they have of her being a goddess. The woman, still very scared, says,

"Oh great one, the guardsman told us that Isis has returned to us, that you have returned to us and that he has seen your great power. We beg of you forgiveness for we did not know it was you and were trying to protect ourselves from the enemies of our leader."

You call for a doctor and the same woman talks to others in the group and then says to Krusten,

"Yes, yes there are healers with us they will bring your friend in and he will be looked after."

Meanwhile...

As Assassin and Shifter are outside a couple of the same men who shot Shifter now come with bowed heads and motion to take him inside.

GM: Saw what you wish to do now.
