When Assassin asks for a Sistrum most look at him in a strange manner. The one person who speaks broken English says,
"But you hold it in your hand..."
Assassin is surprised, in the haste he did not realize that the tool he picked up earlier was in fact a Sistrum!
Meanwhile...
Krusten brings the translator upstairs and attempts to calm everyone which she is relatively successful at doing. She can feel that the people do not know what to make of all these sudden happenings.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
After getting a confirmation that the cab driver is waiting a couple of blocks away Assassin inquires about something to move Shifter. There is no wheelchair or stretcher and the intern tries to convince you that Shifter needs his rest and should not be moved.
Meanwhile...
Krusten attempts to persuade dedicated followers to leave this place as it is not right for them.
GM: Krusten roll against Charisma on next roll with a +50% modifier. A number over your Charisma is failure. Say what you wish to do now.
Krusten tries the impossible to get a group of zealot followers to change their thoughts about their position in the building. Just when you think you have them convinced they bow and say they cannot go because they are not worthy.
Assassin and Krusten drag Shifter out of the building and towards the cab. It is very tiring considering the cab is two blocks away but you finally make it. The cab driver is visibly shaken seeing Shifter in this condition.
"We cannot go to hospital - police know and then trouble - I know where take you."
Says your friend in his usual broken English.
After a bit you are taken to a neighborhood and a more affluent home where a doctor lives. He looks over Shifter and heals him! Shifter is now conscious and his wounds and strength restored.
"I know my friend have powers - that is how I meet him."
Says your cab friend as he smiles while looking at Shifter. The doctor offers you a meal if you will like to stay for it and some discussion.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Shifter rests and will be that way for a number of hours still.
Meanwhile...
You accept the gracious invitation of the doctor and ask him about his powers, the Sistrum and the ring.
His powers, he is not sure how he got them. One day after becoming a doctor he was working on a terminally ill patient and suddenly they were healed. Then he noticed a pattern that anyone he examined would suddenly be healed.
The Sistrum is used with a certain chat to awaken the diety you are trying to contact. He asks you where you got it.
The ring he does not know about.
After some hours of mingling Shifter wakes up very druggy and is given something to drink and eat. It is late evening now.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
You bid farewell to the doctor and head back to the hotel. While there Krusten checks on the payments. It will be another $50 for each room. Payment is due in the morning. You retire and rest well.
In the morning the cab driver is ready to take you to the port. On the way there you ask about the chant to be used with the Sistrum but he does not know. At the port you find out that the ship you are expecting will dock shortly in a restricted area of the port you cannot go.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
The cab driver has no tips to offer short of bribery as he is not into this 'sort of thing'.
Shifter, in the form of an eagle maps the entire port. There are some vulnerable openings in security via the border gates where you might have a chance of getting to the ship undetected but it is still a risk.
GM: Say what you wish to do now. If you want to risk getting to the ship via this method only Assassin needs to please roll against speed as Shifter can fly and Krusten can use her speed.
Krusten speeds through with no issues.
Assassin, though not as fast still has some stealth of his own, he makes it past everyone without looking obvious.
Shifter in the form of an eagle simply lands on the ship.
The ship has docked not to long ago. You were lucky to find a not so well guarded ramp that leads to the main deck. At the moment you are nearer the stern of the ship on a balcony. The other 2 ramps nearer to the bow are alive with things being moved off the ship on to the dock below. Most of the ship's hands seem to be gathered there leaving the rest of the ship unoccupied from your standpoint.
Krusten scans the ship for a bad aura but cannot immediately tell of any unusual feelings.
There are some possible options: to the bridge, engine room, cabins or other place you desire.
Working strategically, Shifter continues to circle the ship. After awhile you can see a couple of people noticing you as it is unusual to see an eagle dwell in one place. You do not see anyone out of the ordinary.
Around this time...
While Assassin hides, Krusten searches the ship using her available powers. Quickly she is able to find what looks like the more executive cabins on the same deck she is currently searching. One particular cabin has strange feelings emanating from it very similar to what she felt when she encountered the dark presence at the clan's hideout.
