Assassin fires a warning shot and the masses hesitate. Suddenly, Assassin feels himself moving and he is spun upside down.
When Shifter goes on the car to declare his speech he finds himself in the same position as Assassin upside down dangling in the air.
The distraction causes Krusten to get away but not for long.
GM: Everyone roll against speed, even Krusten because her speed is negated by the fact the being has speed also! Failed rolls mean you fall or in Krusten's case -caught so you can tell me what you would do at the same time if it happens.
The being has the power to move objects and was the cause of you floating in mid-air, however your awesome speed and dexterity has caused you to quickly get your bearing.
As Krusten darts off - the being, who can fly, gives chase but looses her as Shifter, in the form of an eagle, flies nearby trying to be a distraction. This infuriates the being who raises her palm towards Shifter causing a force to push him out of the sky.
Meanwhile...
Assassin fires warning shots which causes the crowd to move back but they are still there, just at a distance. Traffic on the highway has come to a standstill. You look for any nearby sea, lake or river but there is none. Your best chance of escape would be to take the car and start driving through the shoulder but you would not know where to go as the cab driver is not willing to assist without 'coaxing'.
GM: Say what you wish to do now. Need a Speed roll for Shifter.
Each of you must have some grand guardian watching over you or fantastic luck as you seemingly avoid every obstacle in your path.
Krusten makes her way to the airport but not without some glances as to what was moving so fast.
Assassin convinces the driver to continue to the airport mostly in fear for his own life.
Shifter swiftly recovers from the being's attack and speeds off to the airport as well.
At some point you manage to once again meet together in a secluded area and decide your next move. There is a lot of police activity at the airport you can tell they are looking for someone.
While observing you see the being land from flight and mingle among the police giving instructions as to where they should search.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
In what is yet another act of successful aversion, you eventually make it out of the hands of the authorities and on to other places where you could meet and plan. After a lot of planning you move from place to place until eventually you are back to your own homeland and homes.
A day or two passes and you research what is known about your visit to Egypt. The Being you met is the equivalent of the "Superman" of Egypt, the people all love the Being. Video footage of you in the hotel is shown on social media and you are known as criminals. Shifter in particular, because of his court appearance, has all his credentials revealed. Egyptian authorities are working on the suspicion that you were part of an underground group that is trying to use ancient powers to take over the world.
Over the course of the next few days, Assassin and Shifter notice a different attitude in Krusten - she seems more secluded and less interested in meeting with you all. Visits to her reveals a 'darker' aura.
Shifter feels the heat on him and leaves his home before FBI agents show up. In the form of an eagle he sees agents in his home.
Assassin, though not investigated right away, eventually has to go underground in order to keep himself free from the authorities.
What will be the outcome of our Super Heroes?
GM: This brings us to the end of Be A Super Hero Role-playing Game . It was interesting running Scenarios for you all. The choices and rolls you made brought about a lot of success especially because of the kind of super powers you possessed.
