Garrant now focuses his mind on the van now coming off the exit, as he does this he slowly begins to descend on his floating door and it scrapes the roadway but he still manages to maintain his surfing ability.
Garrant sees the wheels of the van in his mind and attempts to lift them out of the control of the driver. The van starts to screech as it sways left to right and then finally it capsizes on its side and skids down the roadway to a stop on one the nearby medians. You cannot tell if anyone is hurt but no one is moving from inside the van.
Professor Walcott blurts out, "Who are you people?"
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Garrant approaches the wrecked van cautiously with metal cards in his hand should he need them.
You can see that the unfortunate driver was thrown out the front windshield and is lying in the grass at the side of the road in a bloody state. In the back of the van and through the side door now open you see two men dressed in black who are one on top of the other probably knocked out from all the movement. AK-47s are on the road way possibly flung out during the tumble.
In the distance you can hear sirens and people stopping to gather around the roadway spectacle using their phones to record the whole situation.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
You decide to leave the scene before you are caught up in the aftermath of everything. The rest of your drive goes without much hindrance save for a few looks from people who look open mouthed at the ripped side door exposing Garrant.
You all arrive at the police station with Prof. Walcott and the ring. The police are grateful for your efforts in recovering the stolen ring but question you a lot about your methods.
Prof. Walcott is taken into custody, as he goes into an interrogation room he looks back cunningly and says,
"You think this is over? This isn't over... It's far from over!"
GM: The taxi driver wants $50 for all his troubles, make sure to deduct that. We will stop there. I need to change the format for powers and upgrades of powers now that there isn't an FP system anymore. I also need to define powers better so you can better use them. When I have done that I will start the second part of this Scenario within this Thread. Thanks for your participation.
Many months after...
During your usual morning routine you come across the daily newspaper front page report of an ancient ring being stolen from the local police department. Coincidental you think but upon further reading you become aware that its the same ring you fought to protect from the evil underworld. Just when you thought this was a closed case you see that your work was for nothing but it does leave questions. How could it be stolen from of all places... A police department!?
GM: Well this is open again, time to assemble yourselves old Super Heroes and new ones that wish to join in the action. Do make sure to read this whole Scenario so you know what took place previously, it also prevents you from jumping in 'cold'.
As each of you become aware of the missing ring you assemble yourselves anxiously at the police station that the local newspaper reported it missing from. While there some of you become acquainted again while others make their introductions.
You are now in front of the police station.
GM: Say what you will specifically do now.
Thrax decides to gather information about the missing ring by faking his profession as a journalist. He flashes his press badge and coins a few lines...
GM: Please roll the Community Dice D100. A number above your charisma is not favorable.
Thrax flashes his press badge but is a little over anxious about his questions and it disturbs the officer,
"Who did you say you were again? Do you have ID?"
The police officer says with a perturb look on his face now turning the questions on you.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Thrax sees himself in a difficult situation... And tries to initiate an attitude of forgetfulness that the police officer frowns at especially being that he is trained in detecting fake personalities and suspicious behavior. He then starts to signal another officer while saying to Thrax,
"Maybe you should sit down and tell me what this all has to do with you."
You read that invitation more as being detained.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
