The Game Master says...

Shifter's kit is revealed with policing items and the most alarming a gun and bullet proof vest. He is immediately detained, put in a holding cell and questioned as to his real intentions in Egypt.

Meanwhile...

The others notice that Shifter is not coming and you suspect something may have happened to him with customs. Assassin, at this stage, finds as though many are watching him, but it may just be his own butterflies, you cannot be sure.

The Game Master says...

Shifter begins a story about a ring, criminals and so forth which you see the customs officials are not buying. Egyptian immigration are called in and they start off their interrogation with a heavy angered accent,

"You think we are stupid, you think because we are Egyptians you are better than us and you can fool us?"

He slams a folder on the table with your name and info.

"You not police, you not journalist, who are you?"

You can see no matter what you say they will not believe.

Meanwhile...

On the outside near the entrance to the airport Krusten tries to read the security personnel within her range and she can feel nothing that would alert her to their attention.

Assassin, nervous about Shifter, gravitates towards the taxi stand. There are many there who call you to come to their car for transportation.

The Game Master says...

Assassin easily establishes a relationship with a taxi driver who speaks moderate English. Krusten uses her powers of sense but feels no danger.

Meanwhile...

The officers refuse to hear anything Shifter says having already discovered that his police identity is fake. At the moment you are kept in a holding area until they can move you to a regular prison.

The Game Master says...

Shifter sits in a cell within a room that has a desk with no one occupying it. In another room he can hear men talking casually in a language he cannot understand.

Meanwhile...

Assassin and Krusten make their way to the port which is just a few miles away. You learn about the availability of things and places that you can stay. There are people who offer their homes for a small fee or the larger hotels. Both are located within a mile of the port. The taxi driver gives you his card indicating that he knows Egypt very well and can take you on tours to see the pyramids and other sites in Egypt.

His fee for the trip: $20.

You get to the port and inquire about the ship that is supposed to come in. You find out that it is scheduled to arrive in 6-7 days.

GM: Say what you wish to do now. Please deduct the amount from your money.

The Game Master says...

Shifter sees one camera pointing directly into his cell. No one is directly watching him.

Meanwhile...

Krusten pays and secures information from the driver. His total fee is $30. Assassin joins in and at the hotel you are asked if you will share a room or you want separate rooms: $50 night per room or $70 for shared per night.

Assassin searches the internet, he notices that the name of the ship, the ring, and many other points of interest has to do with the Egyptian gods, more so the Egyptian gods that tend to be on the dark side.

GM: Say what you wish to do now. Make sure to deduct the cost of rooms / taxi.

The Game Master says...

Krusten and Assassin share a room. It is a nice air conditioned room with all the facilities: cable, games, breakfast in the morning and room service.

You inquire of the hotel and taxi driver about the best place to "hangout". You are referred to a nearby high society social place that is expensive but safe.

Meanwhile...

Shifter examines his room, it is a plain 10'x10' cell that is all white and windowless. There is only a sink, chair and desk in it, no toilet, bed or any other facilities. The entrance is a solid metal bar door with a well fitted lock.

The Game Master says...

Krusten inquires about the dress code and she is counseled to get an upscale dress as casual wear is not permitted. Following this advice Krusten can get something (Dress and shoes) that can pass for $200 or she can go really extravagant for $400.

Assassin also follows this lead and can do the same for within the same price range.

Meanwhile...

Shifter, still wondering about his current dilemma sees that he has nothing on him but his clothes. After awhile an airport official says to you in very poor English that you will be taken before a judge in a couple of hours and possibly to the local jail as the airport is not a jail but just a temporary holding cell.

The Game Master says...

Assassin and Krusten buy their clothes / shoes. You head back to the hotel room to change and then off to the social club after a couple of hours. At the place described you can tell why your clothes was needed as many fancy cars drop well dressed passengers off to enter the club's lights and music. You find yourself in a short line where the bouncers look you over and let you through. Inside the place has a modern elegant touch to it with a central dance floor surrounded by a lounge and dining area. Familiar to you is the music being played, its the latest hit but the people around are of course all unfamiliar.

Meanwhile...

Shifter is handcuffed and taken out of the cell to be escorted by uniformed police. Everyone in the airport watches you being taken into a police jeep. After about half an hour you arrive in front of a public building that is not well kept. You are told by one of the policemen, "Judge here, you talk" In a thick accent. After an hour of waiting the judge who speaks in English hears your case.

GM: Kntoran: roll a D100 (+35 modifier) for Charisma check to see if you can wiggle out of this one. A number over Charisma fails and you are sentenced to jail and then deportation.
