No offense intended but how do you know your own experience isn't different than what you perceived it was, for instance a vision or dream.
When one notices you're up near the ceiling of your home looking down at your body which is actively moving around--it is surprising, whoa!, and as soon as you "think" I want to go back, because you weren't planning to leave, you weren't trying to leave, you zip back into your body.
Followed by, "what just happened?"
I've had a vision where I honestly couldn't tell you if I was in the body or out, but at the time it didn't really matter because of what was going on.
Sometimes these things happen I believe you help you know the possibilities. Are we not "gods" in embryo! or something like that.
Recently I read the coolest thing--Giving a blessing to someone from long range, like 100's of miles away. The possibilities are endless. And there is a scripture for this one. Check out Alma 43:48
I have talked to a number of people who just can't accept what they just read. Thoughts can be passed on to others. Many believe that we need some special gift that's only reserved for the prophet.
I should add that everyone can have these experiences if they only would believe. That famous quote, "only if you are unafraid of the truth will you find it, but it leads to limitless possibilities, not only in this life, but in the life ahead." Richard L. Evans was the narrator for Man's search for happiness. All the children of God came to earth with his gifts to them to help them in their lives. We are admonished to seek those gifts, other than the ones we have already. Kinda like talents. Multiply them. Believe, is the key.
Please share your experience from the moment I guess you left your body to the point you re-entered, maybe I can give an explanation to this. Include what you did before, for instance what you ate, medication (if any) and if you had any emotional experiences before like maybe you visited the temple or was in meditation.

Comments: While at Ricks College, I had a good friend who would project herself out of her body while sleeping. She did this maybe a half dozen times. Each time it was more difficult for her to get back to her body. The last time, she thought she wasn't going to get back into her body. She decided not to do it again for fear of not getting back into her body.
