The shifter goes back to the steps and quickly calls Assassin telling that he is in but will take a bit to get down stairs if they can keep the ones watching them occupied for a bit. After hanging up he will shift into form of snake and make his way towards the steps leading down hoping to get down the steps unseen. He will watch out for anything that will cause a lot of noise.
