You need an escape plan, that is what an exodus is, where you leave or escape. |

Comments: It's been a while. The reason I'm posting again now is that I believe the time for "The man like unto Moses" to be called upon by the Lord is fast approaching. As I've expressed my views of the identity of this man in previous posts as being the Holy Spirit incarnate, he would no doubt make his appearance on the day ascribed to him in the revealed patterns of the laws of Moses. We are all famillar with the Feast of the Passover being the day in which Jesus Christ would come into this world and 30 yrs. Later, begin his mission on Passover. In remaining consistent with these established patterns, the time for the arrival of the "One Mighty & Strong" (the Holy Spirit) would take place on the day ascribed to him (the Feast of weeks) or modern day Penticost. The shadow of this forthcoming event occurred on the day of Penticost when the Spirit was sent by God to give the Saints of that day, the understanding and power to know which way to go. His being sent to us in the flesh in the near futue to guide us in the way we go, is essential to our reaching salvation (the second coming of Jesus Christ). By way of a word of caution in regard to his coming, Isaiah says "Do not vex the Spirit for he will not forgive you"; meaning that the circumstances durring his presence here will be critical and very dangerous. He will be a man appointed by God for the very purpose of saving our skins among other things. He will know exactly what to do and wown't need the help from anyone with a "better idea". Many will assist him but none will "VEX" him without suffering the consequences. The time is drawing nigh to his arrival on some future day of Pentecost.
Think of the ramifications of an exodus. The exodus will destroy Utah's economy, and most other Western states, like Idaho, Arizona, and Montana. If this exodus is world wide, then it will destroy whole country's economy. There are several Polynesian islands that are 80-90% LDS, if even half leave, it would be catastrophic.
I said in a previous post that I didn't think that we would walk, but re-thinking about it, I think that world leaders, like the President of the United States, will try to force us to stop, since, like I said, an exodus of our size would be catastrophic to the world's economy.

Comments: Regarding Joseph Smith possibly being the Holy Ghost as some people have suspected: In short, that would be inconsistent with the laws of Heaven. For him to return he would have to be a resurrected being. Resurrected beings are restricted to limited contact with people of the Telestial world we now live in. The reference Joseph was making concerning his hidden eternal identity was most likely that of him being one of seven Archangels. Where as Joseph laid the foundation of "The Great and Marvelous Work" ie the Church, the walls and capstone of the Kingdom of God can only be raised by someone who will process the power and authority of God in it's fullness. This is the Kingdom of Heaven established on Earth to give the coming Christ a place of residency. His brother and ours, the Holy Spirit, is the only remaining person, as a member of the Godhead, to process the knowledge and authority it will require to perform this Great Work. What John the Baptist was to Christ and his first coming, one greater than he, will be to Christ at his approach to his second coming.
I am very familiar with the idea that Joseph Smith may be, or have been, the Holy Ghost. I am also somewhat familiar with the idea that he was/is one of the Archangels.
I'll make this short as I seem to remember that we have a topic about the identity of the Holy Ghost. I think that the Holy Ghost may very well be an office in the Priesthood, meaning that different people could be the Holy Ghost at different times. I find a strong ring of truth in the idea that Joseph was one of the archangels. I don't see why he couldn't have been both.
Now, recognize that this is only speculation. Anyone who has received revelation on this subject is not talking about it.
Now, about the ramifications of an exodus in these times. Considering that the US economy is in serious trouble, and that recent government actions are likely to make it much worse, I don't think that having a whole bunch of people move from the Rocky Mountains to Missouri is going to be that much of a problem.
I also don't believe that the exodus will involve people from other countries, or possibly even from other regions of the US.
Also, keep in mind my previous assertion that only people who are prepared will be called out for the exodus, then there would not be all THAT many people involved.

Comments: To me it would make since that there would be several phases to the same general exodus, somewhat different than most people equating this new one solely to the pattern established by the original one. While the main features such as a new man like Moses to lead it, I think it most likely includes many of the elements of the three tiered return of the Jews from Babylon after 70yrs. Captivity. There were three basic waves of returnees. The first group being made up of probably the most valiant of the returnees, demonstrated a greater faith being willing to immediately give up the new found life and comforts of Babylon and confront the hardships of a desert crossing to take up new roots in a war ravaged home of their fathers. Project that pattern forward to our day and you would probably find the initial wave to begin the new exodus to be the 144,000 selected by God and endowed with the authority and power (become angels) under the direction of the new Moses to lay the foundations of the kingdom in order to facilitate the remaining two waves of refugees. The calling forth of this select servants of God, would most likely occur before the 4 angels of revelation allow havic to break out upon the Earth. They are are told by the angel ascending from the east(new Moses or Holy Ghost incarnate) to hold off until the 144,000 are sealed(endowed with great power). After all, we are told that the initial preparations are not to be done in haste.(meaning in a very timely manner but not rushed). You ask, who selects them? Of coarse God dose, but a calling of this unusual magnitude and importance would obviously be made manifest in the Patriarchal Blessings of those to be involved in order to help prepare them during the course of their lives leading up to that. The second wave of refugees would likely include members worthy to avoid the plagues of disaster to come suddenly, by being transported via the powers of the 144,000 previously endowed for the purpose of helping them to escape disaster. Up to that critical moment which will have made it's imminent nature apparent but unavoidable, the faithful will cry out to God and the answer will be a miraculous assisted flight to safety via these new angels. The difference between these new angels and the faithful masses is knowledge. Knowledge acquired by these individuals as they grew in the knowledge of God. These are the valiant followers of Christ, the ones who have acquired God like qualities of love and service without compulsion. The faithful regulars have required a bit of prodding along the way and need to encompass the the dedication of those who will be saving them. These are the second wave. The third wave constitutes the stubborn who will only be saved if repentant and after attending a few months in the "School of Hard Knocks", being left to their own devices. The rest are marked for destruction. Of coarse the Lords children who are not of the covenant who fill these three types will be accorded their various blessings along side those of the covenant.
