international QUOTE
"Why don't you people speak for yourselves instead of using other people's quote's?"

That guy with the people from the future idea made a great thought. When you think about it, of course people in the future to our present would love to use time travel to see their past if they had the opportunity!

But surely if you made a time machine, you would only be able to return back to the point from when you first made it up to the time you went back. Chew on that one.

I really hate seeing people using their faith in debate. All of us have some kind of faith whether it be in a religion, ourselves, or anything you feel you know to be true to you. Theres nothing wrong with having faith, but when you use it in an argument its only ever a derivative of your opinion, therefore it holds no fact or evidence in answering the question...

If you believe that god created the entire planet lovingly and purposefully then you must surely also believe that he only intended for there to be only around a billion people on the planet. (look it up) He only gave the world so much natural gas and fossil fuels, and thats a limit to our modern existence, and once we've burned them all, how ironic is it that we will have changed the planets climate into something less habitable for our kind?! (see peak oil/global warming) Therefore you must also believe that god created the planet to be more than able to exist without humans.

So, your only answer to the question: "what will we look like in the far off distant future" as a believer in god has to be...

"Not very happy, This planet used to be a laugh."

I believe that mankind wont evolve so much in the coming millennium simply because of our lack of a need to adapt to our environment. We are our environment, we can fly, breathe underwater, etc etc. Some could say we are blessed to think that this time could be the peak of humanity. I for one, would be happy if that was proved one day to be true. What about you guys?

Evolution works as natural selection. Evolve or die, its been that way for the history of life on earth. Most of the majority of life that's been on the planet is extinct! (look it up) chew on that one as well.

The more I think about it the emphasis isn't really on how humankind is going to evolve, its on how exactly the planet is going to change.
international QUOTE
"We'll have become spider like in appearance, and rodent like in smell."

I'm sorry, I know that using quotes is a good way of proving a point or backing up your answer, but I always say look it up, because you should ask yourself these questions, not be told to believe something someone else has said.

Our past image, similar to that of the future?

(The past)
What can we glean from the biblical narrative? According to the Genesis account the human family was created prefect and had the prospect of living forever in paradise on earth. So what happen? Why are things so different today? The Bible gives us the answers to these questions, it tells us that Adam & Eve sinned by breaking God's law, destroying their relationship with God, and damaging themselves. All the offspring they had were conceived from their imperfection, as damaged goods.

international QUOTE
(Romans 5:12) That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned. . .
If we look at the genealogies in the Bible book of Genesis, the first six chapters we find that with few exceptions human life span got progressively shorter with each successive generation.

(The Present)
international QUOTE
Psalms 90:10. In themselves the days of our years are seventy years;
And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years,
Yet their insistence is on trouble and hurtful things;
For it must quickly pass by, and away we fly.

(The future)
international QUOTE
What will humans look like in the future?

As noted earlier the first human pair was created perfect. Other than regaining that perfection, human beings will not develop some new organ or limb thousands of years into the future. What than do you think a perfect human would look like? Handsome, pretty, without physical or mental defect, free from illness and handicaps. Yes! God will bring us back to human perfection if we so chose to accept his invitation. By learning about Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ, and by exercising faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus (John 3:16; 17:3, Psalms 37:27-29; 2Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:3-5)

Comments: God is a grand architect and creator so do you honestly think that with the entire cosmos as his playground that he would have stopped with us? An example of this is experiments that involve animals,there are always more than just one set.I believe we are the end result of an experiment in bad judgment so maybe we need to evolve anyway.
