The Prankster
What is your review for the entertainment value of the movie called, "The Prankster"?
Chris Karas is the brilliant leader of The Pranksters, a secret society that rights the wrongs of high school by pulling sophisticated pranks on deserving oppressors. But with graduation looming ahead, Chris longs for more from life. Guided by the homespun wisdom of his charmingly eccentric Uncle Nick, Chris embarks on a challenging path of self-discovery and romance. Hilarious, heartfelt, and magical, The Prankster is an exciting new high school comedy, destined to be the next teen classic.
The Prankster (Hover)
That looks, absolutely awful. The cover has the cliched group shot with the extemporaneous cheerleaders placed a little too symmetrically around the title for unknown but likely irrelevant reasons.
The summary, however, reads rather more literate and thoughtful than the "teen movie" style box would want you to believe, which means one of the two is lying, badly. I have to admit, I would watch it, secretly, just to see which is actually the truth, and if it is the marketing or actual production departments that need the waggle-finger about dishonesty.
Chances of there being something good here: 90% - sike! Oh I'm such a prankster.
