The Strength Of Your Link

A thought for reflection...

How strong a link are you within your family (wife, husband, children - not relatives) as far as the Gospel is concerned? Do you feel you are a central example, does what you do influence the other links and what do you atribute that to?

Link Your Strength The

Right now, I'm the *only* link to the gospel for my immediate family members. My mother and dad don't go to church at all, my son scorns it, and my daughter goes only because I make her. Now, unfortunately, I had years of inactivity and some pretty harsh living that I have to make up for double to counteract those negative effects. But I'm doing my best.

The one person who was the main HUB for our extended family was my maternal grandmother -- and she passed away a couple of years ago. I know some of the family feels lost since her passing. But I also felt a new and strong sense of urgency to go to church, and, in my opinion, it was her doing

The Strength Of Your Link Studies Doctrine Mormon

I believe we are pretty strong in the Gospel. The three of us go to the Church and try to fulfill our callings. My husband has been and is a great inspiration to me, specially his love for the Scriptures.
