Yet Paul in his letter to Philemon 15 - 16 sent back Onesimus not as a slave 'but as a brother' almost two thousand years before Brigham. It would appear obvious that Paul did not consider slavery 'divine'. Not to mention that slaves at the time of Christ were treated better than pre civil war [USA]. They were even freed every fifty years.

President Brigham Young was clear about how he felt about blacks, search for the quotes, there are all over the internet and if after reading that you tell me that his personal thoughts about them didn't influence at all the ban, then I would say you're being blind ChicaSUD.

In 1978, the Priesthood was extended to all worthy males regardless of their race or ethnicity but what was the reason that were not able to have it prior to 1978? (In your opinion).
