I believe there are two types of illiterate people, the ones that are too lazy to learn and the ones that don't have the opportunity.  I know that the Lord's spirit will quide those who are of the latter catagory.  In the United States your only illiterate if you are lazy.

As for your prior post I never thought about it in that light, thanks for the tip, I guess like everyone I was taking it in the context that the Lord was speaking to all of Adam's prosperity and what they were to as regards to their relationship with Adam and Eve.

JB he's saying that based on something I said before. Brian, maybe the case of the United States but you know, the United States is not the whole world....but to say that you cannot be saved in the Celestial Kingdom if you don't know Chemistry is ridiculous!, nothing personal Brian, but it's a pretty crazy statement whoever said it.

My point about the United States is that everyone that lives in the United States  has gone to school so God will judge them based on that opportunity.

My point about chemistry and other subjects of learning is tha the Doctrine and Covenants clearly points out that it is impossible for us to be saved in ignorance.  What does our church teach about those who obtain the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom?  They will become gods, they will obtain all the Father has, they will be able to create worlds without number.  If they are able to create worlds without number they have to be able to understand the laws that make creating worlds possible, and that includes chemistry.  God is the best chemist, he knows that in order to place a world for mortal children to dwell, their world much work in harmony with their organic systems.  That is why the earth is placed in such a perfect condition.  If it's orbit from the sun was just a little closer it woudl be like Venus, too hot for us, and if it was further it would be too cold for us.  Our earth is placed in a possition so that we have polar ice caps on the pools and tropical rain forest in the middle.  This is essential to us as God's children because it provides us with the proper amount of oxyen (in chemistry terms O2) It also provides us so that we may have drinking water depending on our needs.  He also has establish a magnetic system that also gives us our gravity.  With no gravity we would be in chaos, rain would not fall, etc.  Elder Bradford of the Seventy explained that we are to learn and obey all laws, all laws are spiritual laws even if they are based on secular scholarship.  He pointed out specifically that the law of gravity was an essential law that we must obey and give heed too.  It is a law that we need to govern ourselves with, he also pointed out that those who try to disobey this law by trying to fly off cliffs would soon find that they cannot grow if they don't learn to be governed by the law, and disobedience might kill them.

All laws if they be chemical biological, or if they be a law of commandments on our conduct with eachother are to be mastered and understood prior to us recieving exaltation.

ofcoarse adam had a belly button.  but it hurt him alot when eve sewed it on him.    Well he had to have someplace to button his shirt to.

So you're saying then that God himself had a belly button..which would suggest He was born from a mortal mother like Adam also?.
