Maybe the computer can like at least sense what kind of ship they have or how many people are in it so we know what we're up against.

That is just it they do not know that we have no cargo. They will have to board the ship to find that out. We know it is a military grade ship. I will see if the ships computer can tell us anything else.

Out of Character: Pundit I seriously doubt thy have that technology yet. You're like talking transporting molecules through time and space. If they were able to do that we'd be done for already.

In Character: What about the computer patching us through to the other ship? Maybe we can talk with them.
