10 Traits of LDS Young Women

From Deseret News:

10 TRAITS SET LDS YOUNG WOMEN APART, LEADERS SAY
Virtuous young women embody traits of righteousness that set them apart from the
world and allow them to stand "steadfast" and "press forward" in their quest for
eternal life.

Is this true in reality? Anything you want to add? How are the Young Women in your Ward or Branch?

I don't know if its true but that's what the leaders of the Church expect of the Young Women of the Church.
The Young Women in my branch are very outspoken, some of them are pretty friendly, some of them need counseling or rebuking about the way they dress (very short skirts and tight clothes). If you ask me, they're not the typical Young Women girlie-girlie type of thing like in Joseph's Smith time, but hopefully they will make good choices in life.

Many may not agree with this, but for me women are naturally attuned to do good more than men (not taking into account the 'natural man') and behind each woman that seeks to do something not in the right perspective you can usually trace it back to a man. As for the YW in the Branch I attend, they seem relatively quiet by appearance, but it is a whole different story in the real world - hence it is not what we see in body, but what is done in secret - that is where the problem arises. You can see this by the company they wish to keep, their attentiveness in Church and their overall demeanor.

The Young Women in my Branch are quiet but it concerns me greately the way they dress (extremely short skirts and very tight clothing). It is embarrasing in my opinion. Some of their mothers dress like that too, so we know where they learn it from. Some of they have tatoos, a whole bunch of earrings, do not listen to the class and their whole attitude is: "Whatever".

Just as is true with the members in general, the Young Women in my Ward are a mix. Most of them truly do try to live Gospel standards. They strive to live those 10 traits. There are, of course, a few exceptions.

For the most part though, the Young Women in my Ward all dress appropriately. I think my Ward is unique in its general efforts to live the Gospel. At least I must say that most visitors remark on our differences.
