"Hereafter" explores question of life after death
If there's one thing we know about film legend Clint Eastwood, it's that he doesn't stand for a lot of fluff and wasteful chatter. The 80-year-old tells his stories plain and true, and, for the most part, they resonate. Ref. Source 9

Movie Review: 'Hereafter' leaves audiences behind
Clint Eastwood's "Hereafter" starts off quite agreeably with a tsunami that sweeps through a tropical resort.
Then it settles into a mellow, moody tone as it zooms in on three characters in different parts of the world, all wrestling with the same question: What happens after we die?
There's the smashingly beautiful and chic French TV journalist (Cecile de France), who died in the tsunami and was brought back to life.
There's a grave English boy (Frankie McLaren) who's devastated by a death close to him. Ref. Source 9
