I am a little confused. Did B.H. Roberts leave the church or did his writings and talks that are referred here bring this question up? I know my Dad loves to read things by him and so I was a little curious. Thanks!

Title: Many Questions
Comments: Many have questions on the validity of the Book of Mormon but few have answers. The leaders panic if any one starts asking the wrong questions and threaten excommunication. B H Roberts was highly intelligent and didn't state anything that he could not back up with research. Even Joseph Smith's mother called him a "storyteller" [Source?] and told of him entertaining the family with stories of the ancient peoples and their weapons. With the advancements in Science such as DNA it is now possible to prove that the Lamanites are not who Joseph said they were. There is no archeological evidence for the BOM. It is a figment of Joseph's vivid imagination and BH Roberts knew that [Source?]. He was like all the early members of the church...he wanted so bad for it to be true. But it isn't and he knew it.
