The US military are saying that it is not a missile and not harmful but offer no other explanation. Today on Fox News a military commentator said it looked like a jet airplane to him mostly because the plume is different than a SAM.

I wonder where it ended up landing and what the general direction of it was. I find it hard to take anything Glenn Beck says seriously honestly. I would be interested to get someones opinion that knows more about ICBM's and there characteristics to comment on this and see if it even fits the profile. It would seem that being fired 35 miles off the coasts lends itself to being fired from a sub but I think that if it wasn't ours that we would have mobilized some pretty serious hardware in response to it. Who knows that's just a guess from someone who has no idea (laugh).

The Pentagon has released a statement saying that it is "most likely an airplane..." notice my emphasis on "most likely..." which means they do not know or do not want to say.

I feel that this was a missile launch. I feel that it was a test. I have seen planes taking off in all kinds of weather and have never seen that type of vapor trail from a plane. I have also seen many missiles being launched. From the ground, planes and sea. What I saw in my professional opinion is that was a missile and if it was not one of ours we would be on some serious high alerts right now.

Yeah there is absolutely no reason that we should not have some serious attention focused in that area and all the surrounding areas if it was not ours. That would be a very large breach in our security if they were able to get within 40 or less miles of one of our coasts undetected and fire off a missile to say where here! If that was the case I should think that we would be seeing some sort of activity in the area.

Think of it this way. If it was a breach of security would the government admit to something like that? Oh by the way, sorry America but a Russian sub entered our waters, fired a missile to show they were there and then left. They might have some new technology that we couldn't pick up,but nice of them to leave a smoke trail so at least we could know they were there.

The fact that the pentagon and all other military sources are saying that it was a plane. I just have to shake my head at that. I think we are seeing a big cover up over this incident.
