This is an interesting article that talks about the wife of Pres. Monson, how they met and their relationship. A funny but interesting fact:

  Neither found what they were looking for until they arrived at the University of Utah in 1944, according to daughter Ann Dibb. It seemed like destiny.
  Frances and Tom were married a mere four years later; within a year, Tom was asked to serve as an LDS bishop. Soon he was a mission president for the church in Toronto, and by 36, he was named an apostle.

  Like Emma Ray Riggs McKay, Camilla Eyring Kimball and Marjorie Pay Hinckley, Frances will be seen by many as an exemplar of Mormon virtues. Younger women in the church will look to her relationship with Tom for clues on being a good wife and mother.
  Unlike those earlier presidential wives, Frances is reserved and quiet. Uncomfortable in the spotlight, she is less likely to take the podium along with her husband than to take a chrysanthemum to a longtime friend in need of cheering. Her outreach is expected to be more personal and private....

Frances Beverly Monson, wife of LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson, died Friday at 6:35 a.m. Friday surrounded by family.
Frances Monson was born on October 27, 1927. She and President Monson were married on October 7, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple, and are the parents of three children. Ref. Source 9

Frances B. Monson Wife of President Thomas S. Monson Passes Away
Salt Lake City | Friday, 17 May 2013 00:00:00 -0700 | Frances B. Monson, wife of Thomas S. Monson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away at 6:35 a.m. this morning in a Salt Lake City hospital surrounded by family. She had been hospitalized for several weeks and passed away peacefully of causes incident to age. Sister Monson was 85 years old. Funeral arrangements are pending.
