In fairness, I might even change the term fluent as it has connotation to how well we learn languages in the world. He did not learn it, he knew it from his heart. He did not practice it to the point of becoming more skilled and fluent, in fact, without the spirit, I am not sure he could have spoken it at all.

Rather off topic, but... There is a great lesson to be learned. ManofAsher would likely not have felt comfortable to share such a personal experience if someone were not open to accepting it prior to sharing it. Far too often we pass by the everyday people who have the most amazing experiences to share. But because we have rejected or criticized them prior to sharing, these special experiences rarely come up. One reason I have been blessed to meet so many people who have shared first hand experiences with me is because they feel loved and comfortable. They know I will not judge them or their experience. Notice that without meaning to, a comment expressing a lack of faith can inadvertently and innocently declare someone to be a liar, misinformed or confused. That is not the way to encourage others to share such incredible stories. I know many who have walked with the savior and been taught by him. I know people who talk daily with angels and I know people who are "fluent" in the Adamic language. So do you, the difference is that I know about the experiences and you may not. But that can change. It is amazing who you can be introduced to if you only believe.

What a beautiful thing to share ManofAsher! Thank you. Could you tell us anything more about these exceptional experiences?

I have to believe that the reason why Joseph Smith studied Hebrew is that he knew Hebrew was the closest language to the pure language that we know. I'm pretty sure that the current square script is corrupt, but the present pronunciation is close.

I do have a manuscript in my posession (unpublished) written by a local doctor that, through his research of languages, believes he has figured out the Adamic Alphabet which consists of 24 letters. Basically, 22 letters that phonetically are similar to Hebrew, plus 2 vowels that at some point were removed from the Hebrew language.

This manuscript provides (in his opionion of course) the form of each letter, the order and the meaning of each. Each letter has significant spiritual meaning. The doctor that wrote this manuscript is a Jewish Mormon and understands Hebrew, although I don't believe he is fluent in the language.

I'm not one to offend, so I'm not stating that he is right or that he's figured it out, but I would like someone who knows Hebrew and ancient writings to discuss this with me as it is a very interesting topic. I do believe that we will, prior to the Lord's return, be exposed to this holy language.

Are you all kidding folks? am I reading right? So someone say they speak the adamic language and some of you believe it and more...say the person is "fluent"? how for heavens sake can some of ya know that? It is shocking to say the least.

Read my post again. I was clear in stating that my friend "believes" he has figured out the "alphabet". I never said he was fluent. He believes that he has figured out the form of each letter and the pronunciation of each letter. He might be right, but he might be wrong. Either way it is interesting to me.

Comments: I thought that the Adamic Language was a language that was specifically utilized via the mind. Like a transfer of thoughts from one person to the other. It made sense to me because it allowed no room for confusion; if I know exactly what my brother is thinking then there is no confusion on how he meant what he said or if he was using an attitude while he spoke to me, or if he was sad/disappointed/discouraged... Etc becuase I would be able to hear and know exactly how he meant it becuase he was just simply thinking of it. Then I though that when the fall of man occurred, God gave them language as a result because the purity and innocence was lost. Hence, more confusion/darkness/disunity/dischord/arguments...etc entered the world and then finally tll the Tower of Babel where God created another split, which is where we are at now. I also have thought that our gift of speaking in tongues is our best attempt to get back to that purity of language. An example of support for why I could see the mind being used as the primal form of communication is when you see twins, or best friends, or husband and wife, and they have come to know one another so intimately in their relationship that they almost never have to communicate when they are sad or angry or suggesting something becuase of the strong tie that they share (soul tie, if you will) like Jonathon and David in the Bible. But who knows... These are just some thoughts I am throwing out there!

Dear Friends.

To be sure there are many ideas on the Adamic Language...I have for some 39 years or so been working on retrieving the original tongue from the English, Hebrew and Egyptian of the Pharaohs of Egypt..It is recorded from Joseph Smith that the descendant of Noah through his son Ham... Carried the the writings of the Fathers into Egypt with them, and fain would have held the Priesthood through their knowledge of these writings...
To be sure if you were to study Chinese, ore Samaritan as one posted on the site.. Or even the American Indian dialects you'd find words of Adam origin....English However is the reformed language closest to the Adamic... A few hundred years ago English was closest to Old High German... Close to the Dutch of today...you would not have listened to it and known it was going to be Modern English... Which has changed again tremendously since the Geneva Bible and then again with the Scientific/Industrial revolution..There are parts nevertheless of the English that do not apply and may yet be fulfilled by drawing on and from the other languages.
Here are just a handful of examples to give you an idea...
Garden= Gar'Iten../Eden which = Throne of House of the Son, Lord of the Most High Covenant.. And related to garden is... Harbor.. As in GATE of the Household of the Son, Held by the Eternal Son..and it's distinguished neighbor.. The Arbor/Arboreal
Arbor being...Were the Trees grew... The Tree of Life, and the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil...as well as the host of the trees which were not forbidden.

Then in Gar'iten which is pronounced gar'E'ten we will find that Adam indeed is the Resurected(formed of the Tree of Life) Christ from the hinder world... First having given himself as the Saviour/Joshua/Son of Salvation, and now come as Adam giving himself again to attend his beloved EvE and continue the process of salvation as has been done heretofore on other worlds... The I'ten in Gar'Iten gives us the Other name of Adam.. I'ten, which is pronounced E'ten, and then we remember on the night of the Lord's supper that the Apostles were gathered to gather... And they break the bread and partook and then of the Wine... And when they the said.. We have Iten/eaten with in and are fulfilled... The old refrain remembered... Of the Tree of Life that standeth in the midst of Gar'Iten ye may partake; but of the Tree of knowledge ye shall not eat..

Mari = one who is of the Twice given house of the Covenant...mas. Form.
but Mary is Fem. Form, receiver of the twicegivenhouse of the son..but then is that now the name of Adam..the House of the Twice given who twice sacrificed his self for the salvation of the world...For EvE was deceived but Adam was not. 1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceiued, but the woman was deceiued, and was in the transgression. (Geneva Bible) You will find as we share that the would here should have been Wife and not 'wombman'...in Adamic all who are givers of light are M'Ale
"twice give of God" or twice given of the House of pure love...and those who are receivers of light are fem'Ale; either men or wombmen are m'ale if they are givers of light and fem'ale if receivers thereof. the Quorum of Eves then by that reasoning the wife..those "sealed in the Pure Covenant of Heaven" are the Bride of Christ hence Eve the helpmeet of Adam...Ladies you my jump and say amen... We are free from ALL the blame of eons of misconception due to tranlation.. And the tower of bable..as in bla, bla bla...etc
You will also find that Joseph knew what he was doing when he translated the "book of Abraham...I call it the kaleidoscope effect... Where one rendering proceeds to the next logical window and mirrors other inward steps.. Written in black and white and DUH! is the Name Abraham..
What you are about to find out about Eve... Is a Must.. Especially if you've been through the Temple endowment...
Finally... I want you to know that you will probably never know me...I am nobodies head and have no dogma to which I will try to lead you...I simply want to share with you as a friend my story and how you can learn to do all and everything that I have done with this and more ...you will find in the process that all is between you and God and and the indwelling Jesus and Holy spirit...Yes he already lives in you and you are already whole, w'holly... There are many even, who are not LDS background that now are walking in the awakening of how to be come as Gods and the Evei'dense is real.. The Atonement/at_one_ment is real and from Jospehs day untill this, it has happened that the light that Joseph brought has spread...have you not heard of the Anointed Quorum and Joseph...you will see the eve'idence that (Origin:annonnted, trans. Of Heb māshīaḥ anointed, Messiah..) the anointed Quorum was the unmentioned Quorum of Christs.with Josoeph..to which you may now come... You are nearly there only you and Christ can take you home...not me, not anyone.. The preparatory Gospel of the world brings you eventually to the new covenant... All are loved by God and eve'entually all will share..gee the Eve words keep coming up all over the place...
