Police board to probe Security Police bullying claims

Mikko Paatero, the national police commissioner, said Tuesday that the police board would probe allegations of improper treatment and workplace bullying. Last week, commercial broadcaster Nelonen reported that Paavo Selin, a Supo department chief, had reported inappropriate treatment to an occupational safety inspector and to the Police Federation, a union. According to Nelonen, Selin's security clearance had been cancelled, email account closed and office moved while he was on sick leave. Source: Helsinki Times
