Ponder Introduction

Hello. I am a woman in search of stimulating discussion and thought provocation. I have a limited social network and so do not get much chance to share my deep thoughts and hear those of others. I am a latter day saint; grudgingly divorced, writer, baker, dog owner, avid reader, music lover, and most importantly, the mother of a beautiful 16 year old. My daughter is autistic/mentally handicapped and so I am also interested in participating in discussions on the ups and downs of parenting such a special child.
