Lightning Fast!

We recently made a few modifications to the forum script to make it load faster. I am sure those of you on dial-up will notice the difference, those on fast connections will probably not notice.

Chat Room

One thing that slowed the board slightly was a bit of script we had at the top that always counted the number of people in the chat room and their names everytime a page loaded. Well instead of this, users can check after 8pm EST  by using the 'Who is online' link or simply enter the chat room login page.

More Unique Avatars

We added some more recently to add flavor to the forum. If you did not like what we had before then you can check again.

New Template

We have introduced a new template: 'Diva' with a brown color. The last template is still available via your profile and is called, 'Beach'.

Ads Link

Added a link to the top menu to our new ads site located at: https://ads.bordeglobal.net. You can place an ad based on the set categories. This will facilitate those who are addicted to the temptation of placing ads on our site.

Search on Boards

Added a search box to the bottom of each message board so you can do a quick search if you are looking for a particular thread. However, please note that you can easily click the page number on each board to see all the threads it contains.

New Voting System

Rather than use a thread for votes we gave it a page of its' own! In the top menu you will see the new link called, 'Monthly Vote'. Click on that an a page will open with a forum for you to vote for a mod and poster all at the same time, plus you just have to give a name without having to put the reason too. Remember the vote takes place only once.

You will also notice a slight change to the Honor Club, you will see a new column for moderators, the Mod of the month will be placed here.

Banking Hours!

Please check the 'Bank' for the latest banking hours. Banking hours? Yep, it means when its time to collect your forum money, do so, do not wait til a lot of time has gone by and I have to retrace your steps to figure what you earned. For those who have outstanding forum coins to collect, I will give you a grace period one week to bring it up to date. Thanks!
