A little extra message

When you click 'reply' or 'start new message' you will get a few tips just above your message box. This is an ongoing thing and the message will be different depending on what board you are on. In the first instance we have updated the Welcome board.

Zero Posters have to post!

:spock: You know how people join our forum just to look around and post nothing... well they won't be able to do that anymore.  When a user joins for the first time they are presented with the 'First Timer's page' with instructions to make an initial post, if they refuse and start browsing then they are presented with a series of error messages indicating to them that they must make an inrto post to continue. When they make the intro post then they are allowed to see the forum as normal.

Email Disappears

Now users who register with an email address will not be able to change it.

Why?

This prevents users from signing up with ligit email addresses and then changing it to fake or unused email addresses in their profile.

Yep, we are more clear on certain items and added more info on recently added features. The help section is really quite comprehensive, do check it out.

Novice Theme

This new theme makes the forum a lot simpler for those users who are not used to the advanced features and stats we have here. Here is what is different;

1. No avatar, charisma, brain activity or awards are shown in posts.
2. No signatures or online status is shown under messages.
3. No calendar or information center is shown on the board index.
4. The menu is only a few icons
5. No bar showing your current page

This only happens if the user is using 'novice' theme. Once you change your theme to something else you will see the usual stats again.

Sunset! That is the new theme. The last one, 'DIVA' will now be available via the template choices in your profile.

Your profile and 'Casa' will now have extra added information to make you look more cool
