What the Heck Happened?
Our server when into bankruptcy and did not even inform us, so when the server shut down we were just as surprised as you! Luckily we were moved upon by the forces at be to make a backup (which has been restored) so the most recent posts will be up to the late hours of Sept 21st.
Yes, I know you lost some posts for a day, sorry about that. For all members we give 100 forum coins to make it, up (to use it make sure to apply within this week).
As we setup again we will be hunting for errors. If you discover any PLEASE tell us so we can fix it. Thanks!
From memory I think the following updates were made on the 22nd Sept, 03:
BANK
Their is no minimum time for withdrawals or deposits as there is a new for for those requests. However the 20 forum coins per transaction remains. You can claim forum coins you earned at anytime and withdrawals will be recorded on your profile.
MONTHLY VOTE
The monthly vote for favorite members and moderators is up. Please click on 'Monthly Vote' in the top menu to submit your vote.
New Boards!
We recently shut down our singles scripts (if you want to buy them. let us know), so all the singles will start coming here now. We are catering for Trini singles and LDS singles mostly, but may extend it in the future *shrug*.
Singles Corner
This is a page especially for the single members of the forum. You can get to it via the link that says, 'SINGLES' in the top menu. This page will have more later, but for now you can vote for a single member, see stats, and read about LDS_forever and myself
More Members Deleted
Yep, all the no posters, those that don't visit again, etc were deleted, about 150+ of them. We like things small, it is easier to manage, especially when it comes to backing up. Please keep your account regular if you wish to remain a member. Thanks.
Recently we have beem doing a lot of cosmetic changes here and there. They are too many to mention, but we guess you will pickup on them as we go along.
Here are the major changes:
1. When posting a message you will get a warning if you did not fill the subject field in. This is helpful because some users would forget to fill in the subject, type a message, get a new page saying they forgot the subject field, click on 'back' and 'poof' their message is gone. Now before you can even continue you will be notified, no more lost messages.
2. We added a PayPal button to the contribute page for anyone that would like to donate via that method.
3. Novice theme is even more simple. If you find this forum confussing then try this theme. you will be amazed how different it looks.
4. Guest, Wannabe and Edit profile pages are a lot more clearer about what you need to do for certain fields, registration, etc.
