The Architect has recently added a field to everyone's profile called, 'Race'. This field has many descriptions that one can use to describe their Race, however, there may be some lacking, if so please place your comments here for possible inclusion.

NOTE: This thread's purpose is NOT to debate Racial issues.

Persephone, the way you have worded this:

makes it seem as if there would be a drop down menu of selections rather than an open field.

I have not noticed many members, while searching through profiles, that have taken the time to update this field in their profiles. I have updated mine a while back and believe that it is a good idea to have this field as an available option for your profile. This is mainly because we are all here for as much diversity in our discussions as possible and it would be nice to know a little more about each person that is sharing their views on any topic.

I had meant to fix the fact that it was an open field, but something distracted my attention and I forgot about it. This thread reminded me to activate it and so I believe most every case that will likely log on here is covered. If there is one or two not listed then feel free to list them taking into consideration that there is an 'other' choice.
