Ok we shall see what everyone comes up with. I will think a bit more about this and see what I come up with. As far as calling for reinforcements, I only put that if you and Chapolin we to get into trouble to call. But I did notice something that did catch my eye.
Excavon has it right on my line of thinking. I say we should light a torch and throw it into the room as well. If these zealots are cave dwellers and can easily see in the dark, then they would take a moment or two to adjust or shrink away from an immediate light in the room.
Well how many torches do we have? The more torches the more light we can produce. I was just thinking that after i had posted, but didnt edit. Great idea MSSL!
This is a circular room so we should have 2 people stay by the corridor entrance, so that no zealots can leave. The rest should close in from the sides. I think it wise to have a bow stationed at the doot to fire in the center and one warrior protect the bow. (possibly leir for he is banned?) Than the rest converge from the left and right sides of the room so the arrows do not hit them.
This attack will have to be quick i assume for their eyes will adjust sooner or later.
(sorry dont mean to go ahead of ya mssl)
Question:are the zealots snakes themselves?
No need to apologize, Fun. This is how we get plans in motion and besides, if you see something in the story that will help us with planning then please do put it out there for all to kick around and work with.
The plan sounds solid too. Let's see if anyone else has more to add to it and then we will put it all together. As for the torches, Omega has one torch and Leirs has 2. We are already using (used part of) one of the torches.
Did Omega bring his flasks of oil? If he did, we could throw one into the center of the room and then light it with a torch. Or instead of throwing the flask, possibly you or Chapolin could slip into the room pour it on the floor and light it? It would burn for a short while, but possibly long enough to whoop some zealots?
Good plan...two problems...
Problem #1: In the story aren't we all standing in the doorway to room #1 with a torch lighting it up? It says we see blankets and bedding in the room.
Problem #2: Creating a larger fire wouldn't be the best thing to do in a closed cave. There is smoke to worry about, we would suffocate.
If I read the story correct we should come back steal some Iron Rations and some Bedding for everyone before we leave. Theres nothing better than stealing from Zealots.
Mssl, story line says we are in room 1. Isn't this room empty?
I dont think we should use the oil, for light, we still have to fight many of them, and blow out that door (if it is closed and ownt open) I think fire is a good weapon, but i think we should use it spareingly. It seems to me that we are going to be slowed down considerably by the gold and we will need a distraction. Fire will be a great distraction. If we have 100 zealots pouring in all directions and 1000lbs of hgold in our hands...there is no way we can fight :-D just a suggestion..save the oil (i feellike a hipee 'save the trees')
EDIT>i just read what Gab said, and just thinking ahead, but let me get this out b4 i lose the idea. If we get the gold in room 6, we need to secure the Xing that connects rooms 6 3 4 5. Its a perfect place to defend, and he mentioned beddings. We could soak the beddings with...oil and creat a 'firewall' that blocks off all routes except to room 6 qand the ext. That way we wont have zzealots opouring at our rear while we are taking their gold< (idea out)

We could just kill all the zealots before we leave. More experience for us and less damage to supplies we can steal in the cave.
EDIT: The problem with you plan there Fun is that creates alot of smoke. There is no was for hte most to leave so we will suffocate along with all the snakes.
