[Medieval] Living Night - Page 5

The Game Master says...

Omega gets up and walks over towards Leirsgrios.  "Whats that you have there?"

Leirsgrios replies, "It seems like a map bag of some sort.  Here, you open it.  You know what your doing better than I."

Leirsgrios gives the bag to Omega.  Omega then procedes to open the map bag with caution, never knowing what could be inside. Omega finds a curious map to some dungeon not very far away, maybe about a day's journey. It looks as though the man was some sort of treasure hunter.

You put away the map and save it for later study.

You head back to the Smith Farm where you inform the farmer all that took place. He is joyous about the whole affair and thinks it will be the end of that. Omega then asks, "Do you want us to stay another night to watch your livestock just incase?  If not, I think we should watch Farmer Clybeck's livestock."

The farmer nods and says go or stay, "You are welcome and here is an extra five gold pieces for your efforts, (hands you five gold pieces) thanks so much, you are always welcomed in this here farm.

GM: Say who will carry the map, and the five gps. Also state what you will do now. It is 2:30pm

Night Living Medieval

The Game Master says...

You stand in the middle of the stone dirt road that leads to the next farm. You begin to think of the haste that needs to be made if you are to prepare for the night ahead.

GM: Time is going by aimlessly. Say what you will do now.

The Game Master says...

Omega says, "Guys, we better get moving.  Liete, you take the map, your a navigator.  We will split this gold between the four of us.  We each get 1 gold except for Liete.  She can have the extra gold. Everyone agree?"

Liete says, "Alright, sounds good to me.  Lets go moving on to Farmer Clybecks place."

Leirsgrios and Eneyla both nod in agreement.

The party heads to Farmer Clybecks place.  When they get to the farmers house Omega asks, "Hello, we are back.  Would you like us to watch your livestock during the night?  We have destroyed the bats in the cave and now we just have to kill the infected animals.  We believe that one of them may attack your farm again."

The farmer thinks for a moment, and says, "Sure, but I do not have much gold, would three pieces be sufficent?"

GM: Please give your response and say what you will do for the rest of the day.

The Game Master says...

Omega says, "Sir, please keep your gold.  We only ask for a hot meal for supper, while we prepare to watch over your livestock tonight.  We will need to use your barn if you don't mind. We need a place to store our supplies."

The farmer agrees quite happily and ushers his family to make preparations.

Omega then turns to Liete, Leirsgrios and Eneyla and says, "You guys go look around the farm so we can make a plan for the night.  Check where all the animal pens, fences, and barns are.  We need to know everything about this area.  While you do that I will look over our torches to see how many more uses they have, over how many rations each of us have and I will also check if Liete's 2-handed sword needs to be sharpened."

Leirsgri takes a stone found near the woods and uses it to sharpen the sword of Liete. You check out the farm and surounding area. You come across a wolf that is dead some meters away from the farm. It is cold, and must have been dead for over a day. Dried saliva and blood comes from its open mouth and you feel that it was probably bitten by one of the bats you burned in the cave.

You make plans and preparations for the night. During the night everything is still. The morning comes without event. You feel assured that the bats that caused this plague to the wild animals is now over with. You think being in the farm any longer may just be wasting time, besides, your new found map seems more exciting than watching pigs and chickens. You bid the farmer well and ensure him that if anything like this was to start back again, then you would return.

 THE END

GM: Congratulations. You successfully completed this scenario. Your characters will be updated later today. So will the start of the new scenario.
