[Medieval] Camp IV - Page 18

Omega starts playing with a stray dog he found.  The dog looks very strong and healthy, it also looks very viscoius, you wouldn't want to get cought in its teeth.  Omega starts by saying simple commands like Sit and fetch.  He wants the dog to get protective of him.  He feeds the dog meat to get it to be more viscious.

"I heard about molave, what a tragedy.  I agree with everyone.  Jonas can be the leader, I would say that Liete should becasue shes more experienced but her circumstances won't allow it."

"About the plan, we need to devise something that will keep everyone safe.  Yet keep the livestock safe as well.  I say we stick to high ground, get the archers up there and the warriors down below but not too far off.  We could use my dog a bait if we need.  We could build a pit in the barn and have the dog back behind the pit, whatever comes to attack the dog will fall into the pit.  If that doesn't work we can have our warrios hide and when it approaches the dog attack. This is just a loose strategy but we need something.  ave any input?"

IV Camp Medieval

"Ok, i have an idea with your dog bait.  Here is the map of the area."  He unrolls the map for everyone to see.  "Okay, for your dog to obey you Omega you have to down there with it if we are gonna bait.  I think we should bait at the Left Barn because its enclosed and allows Omega to give orders to his pet while being safely high up.  Sorry to say this omega but you can't realy do anything, you have just your stick. No bow, no arrows, no magic.  Jonas you can stay up at top inside the barn and shoot at whatever it is with your arrows.  Either Liete and I should stay down below for an ambush.  Liete has the two hander while i only have my mace.  Omega, you could grab some rocks and take em up with ya to throw at whatever we might encounter, better than nothing eh?  What kind of trap are we going to use?  Pit? Rope and drop something from above the doorway? Both?  If you have a different plan please tell us, mine isn't that good becase it confines us to one area.  If this thing decides to attack other areas of the farm we will have to relocate and everything will be changed."

Whoa, guys, you must vote on a leader first.  I unfortunately still can't be leader.  Everyone must get together and vote for a leader and then post a new party order.  I can't be here like I need to be, so I will go with the majority vote, but please understand, I will still post what I want my character to do and stuff like that.  Whoever is the leader I will help with what I can for guidance and assistance.  Also whoever the new leader is, please check thru the party order thread of how to post in it.  ;)  I will check in tomorrow.  Time is short for me here.

We need to decide
Who will be in the lead:  
Who will be in the lead 2nd:

Who will negotiate for the party:  
When in an open field what will be your formation:  
When in camp who will stay awake, 1st, 2nd, etc:  
In a dangerous situation who will disarm traps:

If the leader becomes inactive in the forum who will take over:  
How long does the leader have to be inactive on the forum before someone takes over: (be specific)  
If I am elected leader (temporary whatever) I will not make any promises but I will do my best so no one dies.
An example party order would be

Jonas wants to buy some leather armour a short bow and an arrow (12 arrows) at the market. (and any other things that need to be done here)
Omega begins to try and try his dog by saying simple commands like Sit and fetch.  He wants the dog to get protective of him.  He feeds the dog meat to get it to be more viscious.
Then the group discusses ideas in case of attack from a second creature on the way to (place agreed on to stay for example) Farmers house in hopes of a bite to eat and rest with party members taking their turns in watch. (as agreed above) Except for Liete who needs extra rest and Jonas takes her watch as well.
Something along those lines if you don"t like it give coments or volunteer to do it yourself.
I also volunteer to go last in line but will take first watch, I will negotiate if no one else wants to and would take a backed off position in open battle to shoot my bow, if I can buy it. And I would vote for Liete to take over if the leader dies. I think we should figure this out then talk to the farmer before making further plans. Other thoughts comments?

Hmmm, well done.  Jonas you are new leader, Gabriel voted for ya.  I voted for ya and Liete said she would take majority.  We might have a newcomer so we will wait for her.  I think I should probably take leadership if you die, i'm quite active at the momeny and Liete is really busy at the moment.   Someone with lots of body should Watch so i think i would be best fit to do it, we don't want anyone fallin asleep on us .  You should negotiate because you have the highest soul of anyone here.  Liete or I should probably lead, while one of us should be last to keep the two mages safe.  I think the same person who takes over if someones death should take over for inactivity.  It should be 2 days? maybe 3.  I don't know formations, probably something tight so we can work as a group instead of getting slaughtered individually.

Well said, Joel.  I will go with the majority vote.  Now just when you go to post the party order post it like it is show.  (Use Mystic's first party order post as an example of how to post it.  ;)  )

Liete looks at everyone and says, 'Yes, we should wait to see if anyone else will be joining with us to complete this task.  I really don't think it was the bear that was attacking the livestock.'

I want all of Molave's possesions that he was carrying before he was attacked by his own kind.  Along with what I have already laid claim to from the previous mission with the bear.  Please do not forget to post that, because, I don't know if wanlorn did that or not before his untimely demise.

Hmm, i need to say how i train my dog better.  

Omega try's to train his stray dog to obey him.  He wants the dog to be able to help out in battle so he trains him to be an attack dog.  Omega needs the dog to be able to save his life in tight situations or to distract and enemy long enough for him to cast a spell.  He named his dog Phoenix.  He will try and train his dog until they leave for the farmers house.  By then he hopes his dog will be able to do its duty.

Any changes you think should be changed to make this better please tell me This needs to replace what i said earlier in the Party Order.  

I vote for Jonas as leader like i said before.
