Medusa, your words are hurtfull, who says I am a thief, I never said any such thing. Who is my accuser, I am innocent. I will put an arrow through them! Who said I was a Thief? I think you are the thief, hiding ever so grandly behind that sword of yours... And are you my mother that you might know the things that I know? or the trainings I have?
[offtopic]There is no way any of the characters could possibly know Molave is a thief, he is dressed as could be described a Ranger and has intorduced himself as an herbalist. Out of Game you may know what he is, however in game none of you know what eachother is unless you claim to be so... all else is supposition. Just as we have no knowledge "In Game" of what the last party went through, every new charachter is a new person. Thank you for respecting in game knowledge boundries. {besides for all you know I am really an assassin sent to kill one or all of you - depends on how you look at unknown people ;-)}[/offtopic]
Leite, I like many have no gold, I am but a poor herbalist who has developed some skill with the bow and sword, I have not even one of those, my weapon of choice is the bow... As for the animals dying in the night it could just be wolves... and then I could create an herbal concoction of wolfsbane to put on the livestock to chase away the wolves... Besides you never know how usefull an herbalist can be...
Also as I do not drink, perhaps I could be of best use on the street and hear what the words spoken in haste are, and I think our resident cutthroat, Medusa, has a problem with me... accusing me unjustly and all...
Group Loyalty: good
Liete looks at Myst and says with a wink, 'Just as long as I can keep at least one gold coin, I am willing to share what little I have to 'buy' information if need be.'
Liete looks at Molave and says, 'I merely suggested we buy a drink to not look so suspicious while we are sitting here. We may not get much information if we don't at least buy a drink while we are here.'
[offtopic]Wanlorn, we know you are a thief by your game stats in your posts. They clearly state that you are a thief. This means this was the character that you have chosen. You are a thief with knowledge/skills of herbs and healing.[/offtopic]
Molave quickly finds a seat at the back of the Bar and keeps out of sight.
[offtopic]Msslm, yes YOU know I am a thief, but you are not your charachter, Liete, can not read these poses as she lives in a fantasy world. Just because a Player knows something does not meen the character does, or else the game is useless, I know you have x hitpoints so rather than use my best attack I use a lesser one. I know you can detect spells, so I do not cast them when you are around... it is like somehow mystically knowing everything about everyone. Do you in real life tell all your secrets to everyone you have dealings with? Neither would your Charachter. I have been RPGing for between 15 and 20 years, and a GM for about 10, this topic invariably comes up with new players and out of game knowledge. For instance I was in a game recently where we went into the underdark, I as a player know quite a lot about bothMenzobarenzan and the UNderdark realms, my charachter however had no clue, they found it by mistake, so just because I know the best way to kill a strider, I could not do that because my character did not know that... does this make sense?
Sorry for the long reply, but basically role playing is about the character and the story not the players...
Oh one other quick note... Do you wear a sign that has your name, experience level, profession, etc? Neither do the charachters[/offtopic]
(Wraith quietly speaks) I have to 2 gold coins, Drinks are on me, I'd rather not get strong drink as it makes the mind unclear and foolish. We can share if there isn't enough for everyone individually. We should use the other coins to get info from the bar owner or server and maybe buy a drink for a villager that knows a lot, he may tell us much when he is drunk. Perhaps we could offer our services in exchange for a safe comfortable spot to sleep and perhaps a bite to eat. You know wash dishes, whatever. Otherwise we may find ourselves in harms way under the stars.
As for Molave being a thief or whatever I don't care as long as he is on our side, that goes for everyone else too. Let us be more kind in our words, we have enough enemies already. Also we could accomplish much more working together.
Medusa I know you grow restless as do I, my sword longs for the taste of blood but let us wait to draw swords together to fight common enemies until after we are out of the village, after all aren't these the people we are supposed to be helping. As for chickens those are for farmers and talk is cheap, we will all have a chance to prove ourselves when battle comes, I am sure we will have many opportunities. (finished talking I sit back to look around and think of more preesing matters.)
