the game is moving slow i guess because of the down time, but now that we are on again i am going to post party order so the gm can give us something new.

IV Camp Medieval

I would like to dig a pit by myself if needs be where I said like I said before covering it etc. but, I also want to look for herbs of my own to make a goo for the bottom of the pit to slow down the animal maybe we could mix in some left over poison or stronger stuff that hurts it when it breaths, and between that and the poison arrows we should be able to do some damage. I will give Medusa and Liete  backup from the pigs but I think it might be better for us to hang back to let the poison do its work. Molave I wanted to use an animal for bait too but the farmer won't let us. I would also like to find a good stick and try to fashion a spear so I wont have to get so close if I need to I could sharpen the point or try to attach a sharp rock if I have time. [offtopic]myst could you send the GM a message for me to look for herbs and other things to make a very sticky goo for the bottom of the pit? if its possible thanks.[/offtopic]

you have a shovel? if you dig now you might be digging into the night? um and where you going to put that pit. i will tell the gm about your goo in the next po. we need to get some details in now, who is going to stay where for the night?

I will go up into the hayloft overlooking the field so that I can keep a look out and shoot my poisoned arrows at the thing. Mind you it is a slow acting poison so it might take a while to take effect... Medusa, since you and I seem to be the only archers in the group I would suggest that you tip your arrows with my poison, that way we might just kill it even if all we can do is wound it... Who knows this could be the start of a wonderous adventure... And hey, if we can't kill it, but survive we can always leave town... at least our skin will still be attached to our bodies...

Molave then takes his cloak and reverses it so the black side is out, then he lifts the cowl and his face seems to disapear inside...

thats a good plan but i think you need to say which hayloft and field so the gm does not ask again

i think we need to use the map to describe where we will be. the place is big and there are few of us.

So ok since it is as bad as it is... my thoughts were that I could be up in the loft and the kinda grey area outlined from that barn is sorta my line of sight and Medusa because she has a sword might want to be on the ground floor so she can take shots with her bow then charge into combat. Myst, Wraith and Liete would position themselves about where the x's are ground cover might be good perhaps some shrubberies...then if/when this thing shows up they will be ready for combat (hopeing the arrows at least ground the creature (pits might be a bad idea with warriors on the ground at night... pretty nasty combination, besides this thing flies then the pit would have to be in the air to do any good... lol

So that is my plan kinda... oh and the red line of sight areas show how the warriors will want to mostly face though they have 360 degree option...perhaps if we had some string or yarn we could run it beween all of us and  tug on it to alert the others of impending arrival of our foe... then once everyone has been 'tugged' we would be alert... (less noisy that a cry in the night...)

Um... yeah... any other ideas?
