I like the formation strategy. Let us warriors draw fire while the thieves hit them from cover.
If the situation allows, get behind them. We warriors should open up with bows first, if given the chance, then close with hand-to-hand weapons.
Mage stay behind us, unless you just like getting whacked on.
I'll go with you to get the horses tonight. Somebody round me up an apple to take with me.
Also, when we get the horses, be on the lookout for hobbles and more rope. We'll need them for a picket line.
Like I posted earlier, Fion drifted back, bow ready, behind convenient cover. He will let others do the talking.
He is still wondering why in blazes we are getting only three horses, though.
But at the moment he is watching the hunter carrying the doe, and making sure he has a clear line of fire, should it become necessary.
Ask the GM about that one stranger.
There are only three of us going out tonight to get the horses, Â it will be much more difficult to take six horses at night without making a racket and getting ourselves caught. Â If you feel capable to get another horse or two, I leave that up to you but your gonna have to do it on your own unless Lupus agrees to help out, he is strong and has a good head on his shoulders. The two of you may be able to handle two horses each, as for me I, am not strong enough to handle more than one horse at a time. If this is your will, then I will wait for the both of you outside of the village with others when I am through. Â Hoot like an owl when you get outside the village, the rest of us will be in hiding, waiting for you.
Kagan says to the stranger with a warm greeting look on her face. Â
Good day to you. Â
Just five restless friends looking for something to do outside of this old village. Â This place doesn't hold much excitement for our insatiable curiosities of what lies beyond. Do you know much about what interesting places there may be to visit outside of the village? Â
Well, having three riding and two walking won't speed anything up, because we can go no faster than the slowest member.
And sure, I can get five mounts. It's not a matter of strength, just knowing how to handle them.
With an apple to reward them and a little ear-scratching, they'll come right along.
(unless the GM decides to have a little fun with me)
alright then it's settled. Your good with animals. You will probably be more help than I bargained for. Like I said. I can only handle one on my own. We'll discuss it more later.
I'm hoping that this hunter isn't going to be so nosey about our business and hope he goes away quickly so we can all get a move on.
It's no big secret that there is a mission to get the scroll since the village herald was to announce it to all and ask for volunteers, but no one needs to know that it's us. Although I do have to say we look like a conspicuous bunch.
