Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I thought I did actually...*I'm getting old*

I think there is must be a way to figure out this guy, it also seems like the GM is giving us no option but to accept his offer because if we don't agree and we walk away, who knows what may happen (that's what the story says) "You wonder who this guy is and what would be the consequences of walking away."

The guy seems to know our thoughts, our actions before we actually do it, if we walk away who knows we may be killed because we already have some information that he wants to kill somebody....

Hmmmm....I think we should accept because it seems like there is no option unless you have a plan or other idea. Let me know.

I insist that the guy answer us about the 10,000 units each. I am not sure, I am going to agree to do this because, I don't like the way the guy treats us like we have no worth. I realize he will probably kill us, but I suspect that is going to happen anyway if we agree to do the job. So, I think first, I just want as labrat to say the following.

"Listen, I am only going to agree to this job, if you agree that is 10,000 units each."

Hmmm I'm thinking it more and I am kind of changing my mind, let me know what you think. Like you said, the guy is treating us like we have no worth, why we should accept his offer?, if he's going to kill us anyway whether we accept the job or not, there is nothing really that assure us he's going to pay. I'm ready to fight for my life if necessary, I'm not afraid of him. So, I'm kind of thinking in rejecting his offer, after all, we don't know his name, where he's from, what he does, who is the person that will be kill and absolutly nothing! it seems like a suicide mission to me.

Also don't you find strage he wears a cowboy hat? what about if he's a cop undercover!???

I will reject his offer without much hesitation, he's not worthy. Let me know your thoughts and I will post in Squad Order.

So, I think we tell him we need 10,000 units each and some kind of assurance that we will be paid or he needs to find someone else.

O.K. Now, what? I don't think an undercover cop would have turned us down. I think we wait and see what happens. Maybe he is calling our bluff. Do you think we should stick together for a few days just to be sure he doesn't try to have us killed. Maybe we should get some things from your house and bring them to mine and stay together for a few days.

What do you think we should do.

That's a great idea Labrat, let's stay together for a few days at your home, let's also frequent the bar often to see what the Stranger is up to. I will post in Squad Order now.

My initial reaction would have been to jump in and help the stranger if a fight broke out. That way he might start to trust us. Now, I wonder if he hasn't hired these two guys to kill us.

I think maybe we should have our weapons close at hand. You know, in our pockets or under our coats while we sit here watching these guys. Then when they leave we probably should follow them, with our weapons at the ready but concealed.

I don't think the Stranger needs any help. When we first saw him with Mystic, he fought like 3 or 4 guys all in once without no trouble whatsoever, so I don't think he needs our help, now what I think is going on is that the same job he offered us to do, he offered it to these guys (that's why these men were congratulating to each other and they were so happy) now, this is the best opportunity we have to see who is the guy the Stranger wants to kill, we don't know if he even planned to get rid of us first! so let's watch out, let's have our weapons in our clothes, I am always armed. Let's stick in the bar for a while and see what these guys are up to and if they leave we could follow them. What do you think?
