You are ushered back to your seat by another crew member and some of the passengers that were seated nearby. They begin to ask what started the situation and you have now alerted everyone to your presence. Your new 'friend' is being held back by the other steward who seems to be having a hard time getting him to calm down, he looks at you in a mean way.
GM: T-35:00, Say what you will do now?
You hear over the audio the Captain's voice,
"Please be seated, we will be landing shortly, but if you glance out the nearest window on your way to your seat you will see the earth fast disappearing and the moon coming closer. This is space ladies and gentlemen and it is quite a sight and we thank you for flying with us."
Everyone begins to take their seat in excitement. The stewards usher everyone to prepare while the diplomat seems unconcerned.
GM: T-10:00 you are anxious to add to your comp journal about your first visit to the moon, but wait, you also have a task, is it too late?
As Reaka gets up to go to the back of the ship with an aim to put on a disguise he is stopped by a steward who rests his arm on his shoulder with a strong indication to go back and sit down.
"I Think it will be best if you are seated now, Sirrrr"
At the same moment LabRat takes the opportunity of time set up by Reaka to go over to the diplomat and whisper in his ear:
"Excuse me, I need to talk with you. It is a matter of life or death, yours. But, I can't talk to you about it here. Quickly come with me to the back of the ship where we won't be overheard. We need to speak of this before the ship lands. Hurry!"
The man looks you over and then says while remaining seated an in an attitude of contempt at your gesture,
"Who are you, how dare you come over to me this way?"
He starts to get louder and now the steward that was speaking with Reaka notices LabRat up from her seat and starts to say in an authoritative voice,
"Mammm it is time to be in your seat please."
She steps a couple of feet away from Reaka, just enough to be more instructive to LabRat, but you can see she does not want her attention to be taken off of Reaka completely as she remember his little incident awhile ago.
GM: T-7:00, Reaka can use the opportunity to continue to leave if he so desires. Say what you will do now.
LabRat continues the conversation with the diplomat hoping to draw attention further away from Reaka so that he can get to the back and into his disguise. She says to the diplomat,
"Sshsss, keep it down. What's the matter with you, I am just trying to help you. If you don't want my help then fine, but if I were you, I would at least want to listen to what I have to say."
He looks at you inquisitively, but does not move. His face shows great distrust and his brow forms a frown. At the same time the steward is gesturing for you to sit down. He does not move and LabRat feels kind of akward about the whole affair now.
The man places his computer and papers close to his heart as though they are supposed to protect him while looking at the stweard to take his focus off of you. LabRat sits down.
By this time Reaka has started down the corridor.
The steward noticing using a device similar to an ear piece,
"We have a irrate passenger heading your way."
Reaka is met by a steward who already has his palm up and arm extended with the universal sign to stop.
GM: T-5:00 Say what you will do now. The ship is about to land.
"Well, I tried to warn you" says Labrat in an intimidating tone that causes the diplomat to hold even more tight his papers and computer. Labrat gets up and runs over to the guy that Reaka had his problems with before. She deliberately crashes into him and begins a very loud fight with him. She begins a session of yelling, screaming, and hitting him which now causes a serious state of affairs about the ship. The stewardness yells,
"I need help here!"
Two stewardesses are pulling off and now attempting to hold down Labrat(body of 7), and they do so easily while the man(now a victim again) is taking lucky punches at Labrat, but he is soon told off and takes his seat again.
Reaka now sees the steward moving towards him followed by two other service personnel that have decided to get into the action. One of the service personnel is a big old fella that seems not much up for this nonsense. Reaka has no weapon, three overpower him easy as he has no specific hand to hand combat experience.
You are restrained until the ship comes to a halt.
Epilogue
The ship soon lands. You find yourselves met and escorted by a heavily armed squad of military and security personnel to the moon base prison. You are taken before a tribunal after a number of days of interrorgation which in these times are quite effective at making you tell the truth. You are sentenced for conspiracy to commit murder, treason against State and a number of other crimes.
Your mission, career and future life seem to be terminated as you see yourself behind bars for many many years to come.
The End
End Note from GM: This was a very simple adventure, there were many instances you went wrong with from the top one being that you always wanted to fight. The idea of assassination usually involves lots of intelligence gathering, planning and then execution without detection. If done right you could have achieved a lot without bringing attention to yourselves. In this scenario you would have gained more without having to kill anyone since there was an underlying story.
Think about these points:
1. You have a computer with a network of information but did not use it, you could of found out the probable reasons why the Stranger wanted this man killed, etc.
2. You never researched who the diplomat was, lots of clues there
3. You did not try to bribe anyone for extra info or services
4. You spent too much time picking fights when you could have explored the ship, you even had a map, you would of found things to help you in your goal.
Your characters are considered dead. You may either create new ones or venture to the other RPGs.
