Game III - The Mall - Page 2

This Dramatist role,

While in the midst  of conversation both of you hear an argument brewing hot. An old woman and a young girl are both fighting over the last pair of a certain style of shoe. The young girl, which seems to be no more than 17 or 18 is using slang and being rude to the old woman.  The old woman who ha the look of a grandmother is amazed at the attitude and begins to answer back while pointing in the air to emphasize her point about the younger generation being out of control. All seems to be based on the idea that the younger girl claiming that she saw the shoe first and the older one being senior and having first pick. You both start to loose interest when suddenly the old woman brings her hand down from the air and starts to hold her chest. Her purse drops to the ground and she starts to gasp for air. You are amazed by the sudden turn of events. The teenager becomes firghtened as the old woman falls to the floor in a seemingly unconcious state.

Mall - III Game

Lemina is horrified and shocked.  She looks quickly at Sugarplum and says, 'You are a doctor, you help this woman, can't you?'  

Lemina has no idea how to do CPR, and with Sugarplum being a doctor, surely she could help this poor woman.  Lemina also thinks that it was rude of the younger woman to fight with the older woman over a lousy pair of shoes.  It was just a pair of shoes, it wasn't the end of the world.  The younger woman could have easily let the older woman have the shoes, or the older woman could have let the younger woman have the shoes.

Kim role,

Sugarplum quickly starts pushing people aside and starts talking loud and saying  'I'm a doctor, I'm a doctor, let me pass please' she then looks at Lemina quickly and says 'Please keep the people out from this spot'. She then looks at the  woman at the floor, take her pulse, and start CPR and mouth to mouth resuscitation....she stops for a second,  takes her pulse again and start the whole thing all over again...

Page 2 Mall - III Game

While Lemina is moving about the people she keeps saying, 'Step back, and give the doctor some room to work.  She can't help this woman if you're going to stand right in her way.'

Lemina looks at Sugarplum while she is trying to resusitate the elderly woman.  Lemina says a quick prayer that this woman didn't just pass on, right here in the middle of the shoe department.  It has always amazed her how a doctor can do all these things and help a person to continuing living.

Lemina looks again at the crowd of people and then back to Sugarplum again.  'Is she gonna make it?  Is she gonna be ok?  Should someone call 911?'

Mall - III Game

This Dramatist role,

After a minute or so the old woman begins to start coughing and girating her upper body from the torment of a slight heart attack. Sugarplum and Lemina sigh a relief at the breath of life still within the frail face of the woman. The teenager that was so loud mouth is now very quiet.

After awhile the old woman stands to her feet and asks for a glass of water which someone in the crowd runs to get her. Everyone now praises and claps for Sugarplum. Lemina looks on wondering if she should join in. The old woman is grateful and asks for someone to call her daughter to come pick her up. With all of this the old woman still has enough vexation to give a sligh glance to the teenager.

Game III - The Mall

Kim role,

Sugarplum is relief and ask the lady 'Are you allright?' 'Lemina, please call 911 and ask for an ambulance, the lady needs a check out in the hospital'.

Then Sugarplum turns to the teenager and says 'She will be allright, don't worry about it. She didn't had this heart attack because of you, maybe she was having some heart problems before and she never took care of it, but she'll be allright.", she then smiles to the teenager.  She knows as a doctor is a big deal this situation for such a young girl.


'Lemina, thanks for the help' then Sugarplum talks to the crowd and says, 'Okay people, she will be just fine, you all can leave now since the ambulance will arrive in any moment'.

Lemina immediately takes out her cellphone and dials 911 and instruct the operator where to send the ambulance and paramedics.  

Lemina breathes a sigh of relief when the woman came through.  'Oh thank goodness, she's alright,'  Lemina says aloud.

Lemina smiles as she watches Sugarplum reassure the young woman that it wasn't her fault.  Lemina thinks Sugarplum is pretty cool after watching her in action doing what Sugarplum does best.  Lemina is really starting to admire Sugarplum.  

Lemina looks at Sugarplum and says, 'I did what anyone else would have done in this situation.  But I was glad I could help even if it was just a little.'  Lemina shrugs her shoulders and thinks now would be a good time to bow out.  She then says, 'I'm going to go sit down and leave you to wait with this woman, until the paramedics get here.'

Kim role,

Sugarplum smiles to Lemina and says 'Hey, would you like to join me for lunch?'. I love Outback, do you?. They make the best steaks in town!' she laughs.

'We can talk also about some businesses, of course, if you feel up to the challenge' she laughs again.
