That they do. In the U.S., if you have a Social Security number, you are "in the system" and can be found, generally. Not to mention credit cards, ATM cards, tax returns, drivers licenses, car registrations, etc. etc. etc. What's one more little gizmo? I'm willing to bet it will be GPS-enabled as well

Beast The Mark

We were talking about the mark of the beast today in Sunday School and in the scriptures it was saying that many will be deceived because 'the beast' will perform miracles just like Jesus Christ did when he was on the Earth. And it made me think a lot, in the same way God have the power to perform miracles, the devil also have that same power to deceive us and leading us to destruction.

I believe also that this could be the mark of the beast. I was talking to a christian a few years ago,(about 5yrs ago) who was trying to give out tracts on this same subject. Nobody wanted to listen to him, because what he had to say, just seemed to be from a sci-fi programme, it seemed so far fetched. This was before the "chip and pin" system was even heard of! I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the UK, you can now no longer use your credit/debit/bank cards to make any purchases without using your "user identity" pin number.This I feel is another move to the trading system as mentioned.
Also quite interestingly, he pointed out to me that every bar code on every UK food product began with the numbers 666 followed by further numbers.He was asking people why they thought out of all the number codes food producers could have chosen, they would choose 666? I don't know whether this is still the case, as I haven't checked any tins lately as I don't buy much tinned produce, but this was certainly the case 5 yrs ago.

The number of the beast: I have read that in ancient times they would add the numbers of the letters in your name like a code then add them together and that would be your number. For example in English A=1, B=2, etc. Therefore pockettape = 112. Rev1:4 "John, to the seven churches which are in Asia" John was writing in Greek to churches that spoke Greek. If you add the numbers, in Greek, for Nero Caesar you get 666. Just a thought, but although I believe the Bible is true for all times we must not forget the context which the writer was in. The mark of the beast could not be something we would easily see, how could the anti-christ fool the world. Rev 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666." Since we have to calculate the number it wont be plainly visible.

I've always believed that something like the chip would be the mark of the beast. In today's world, there is a sudden push towards "global unity" and "one religion society". Since things like these are mentioned in the book of Revelations, why couldn't the chip be part of it.

Offtopic but, pockettape, that number thing is cool! I've never heard of it before.

I have received the seal of the beast in afterlife world 20-22 years ago. Main information - the first who meets us in afterlife world is the BEAST which is described in Bible, but not God as many think!

BEAST. This creature has size about 12 meters in height. This creature is able to stay on two legs and has very long tail (so it also 30 meters long including the tail).
IMAGE OF BEAST is any creature who has seal of beast with spirit of beast inside and without man's status!
MARK OF BEAST. After sealing up appears imprint! This imprint has name - mark. It looks like black tattoo which is putted on spirit (not on body) therefore can not be cutted out. It contains the head of dog with iron slam on head.
SEAL OF BEAST. The beast has the seal. It is like iron seal on a long pole. Any host is able to mark by seal of beast.
666 is number of men who will be marked by beast but will be saved! (I.e. common number of saved from all who will be marked by beast).
FOREHEAD whole forehead bone from brows up to top of head! The seal of beast is fatal when it putted on forehead or on any hand.
NAME OF THE BEAST. The beast has name, same as any creature who was created by Creator.
NUMBER OF NAME OF THE BEAST is number of people who will call themselves by name of the beast. I.e. 666 is number of people who will be saved from the lake of fire with seal of beast on any place. But the number of name of the beast is number of people who will call themselves same as the beast.
HOST is creature (man or angel) who received the seal of beast! Host can to mark up anybody by the seal of beast!
ROD OF IRON is spirit of beast which is inserted into us horizontally.

In my opinion I believe you have a Medieval (too literal) concept of the Beast spoken of in Revelations. Most of John's description is symbolic and should be interpreted in terms of what the dualistic meanings were supposed to point to.
