I have to say I'm saddened that I have to wait even longer to see Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl. However I understand Smith's reasons. The third Matrix movie is coming out around the same time JG was originally scheduled to be released (november 2003). Damn Matrix. I'm getting sick of Neo and his antics. The third movie better be the final one. That's all I gotta say. >:(
I finally heard that Ben Affleck and J-Lo were going to star in this movie. I also heard that they took their pics off the movie posters to try and just promote the movie and not the two lead actors in the film. According to what I heard on the radio, they said they didn't want this movie to flop like Gigli (sp?) did.
Jersey Girl was a 'cute' movie for lack of a better word. J-Lo had a very small part; she dies early in the movie. Ben Affleck was good and so was Liv Tyler, but the little girl who played Affleck's daughter stole the show. She was very adorable and you couldn't help but feel affection for her character 2
Hollywood favorites Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Jason Biggs shine in this heartwarming all-star comedy from Director Kevin Smith about a guy who thinks he's lost it all only to discover he's got everything he needs! Ollie is a smooth and successful big-city publicist who has the life he's always wanted - until things take an unexpected turn and he finds himself an unemployed single father back living with his dad in the suburbs. But just when he thinks his life has hit rock bottom, a sexy, no-nonsense video store clerk enters his life and shows Ollie that sometimes you have to forget who you thought you were and acknowledge what really makes you happy.
