When I read this, I just couldn't believe it. You would think that I wouldn't be surprised any more after seeing other strange crimes. Did this guy even try to get the teenager's attention in a non-vocal way before he hit him? I mean, it said he was listening to music and playing games, so I'm assuming he was wearing head phones.

This definitely could have been avoided. Oh well, I guess the man won't be doing anything similar any time soon.

All my kids have Ipods and they at times can be very distracted. But I know if some guy strikes my son because he can not control himself I will be in jail too for slamming him against a wall a few times. Maybe having his head pounded will get him to realize his mistake.

Wow, some people are just so darn crazy in this world. He could have first of all, asked nicely to for him to turn it off. If he didn't cooperate, ask again, and them if no, just put in some headphones or something and go on with your business.
