For 2011 we have decided to take out all the frills of International Discussions and keep just the needful. Since this was the most modified Forum out there it will be quite a task to take everything that was added out! As we make changes you will find what we have done here as it is too much information to put in a Newsletter.Sponsored Links:
Discussions International and KISS
The Main Index was down for a few hours as I was getting some coding done and then lights went. It has been restored now, but you MAY experience errors still as we continue to downsize the site today.
Here is what has been removed so far:
* BANK INTEREST - this has been removed because we are also removing the SHOP / FP system
* SHOP - This has been removed along with associated items so there is no more icons, or stealing or fancy files simply because the FP system was removed. Things that use to require FP will become free or based on Post count.
* POINT / GIL system removed completely (You will not need it anymore)
* ARCADE - Totally removed.
* RSS FEEDS - Removed
* LATINA Chat Bot files removed
* PLUGGED RPG is no more.
* SEND A CARD - Removed
* MUNJPETS - Removed
* WEB LINKS - Removed
* TOP SITES - Removed
* CLANS - Removed
* MEMBER WARS RPG SYSTEM - Removed.
* JUKEBOX - Removed
* DOWNLOADS - Removed
* NEPHI RPG - Removed
* Planner - Removed
* Radio - Removed
* SPECIFIC NEWSLETTERS - Removed
* NFL Plays - Removed
* WHO WAS ONLINE TODAY - This is usually shown in the Main Index. That has been removed as it makes no sense showing extra querries just to show who was online. You will know who was there by the Top Posters Of Today which will be kept.
* GLOSSARY - This was removed. Later we may make a Board for it.

More Changes & Downtime
First of all sorry to those of you who had trouble accessing the site today, I was making major code changes and had many at home interruptions to deal with at the same time. Everything appears to be stable now and we are continuing to work on everything as fast as we can.
More Changes
HOT or NOT GALLERY - Removed. No one was really using it.
Forum Guardians - They are no more. There is no more Forum Shop to get these things.
Statistics - Reserved for Admin only - it uses too many resources.
Member of the Month Voting - Removed. The Honor program will end with 2010.
My Goals - Disabled. Blogs facilitate this now.

Downsizing Continues...
Birthday Email Greeting - Removed. You know when its your Birthday right? We don't need to tell you.
Birthdays at the bottom of the Index - This has been removed. Besides it not being payed much attention to it might just end up being a reason for embarassment if no one acknowledges anyone's Birthday.
Calendar - No one uses it and plus we cannot keep up with world wide events bcause they change so often so it is just an extra resources taking up space.
Extra Profile Input - Removed. You can always tell us about yourself in your Intro Thread.
Tiempo - Removed. This is in keeping with no more MMORPGs
Police Chief RPG pages removed.
Automated Display Of Latest Post
I am removing those from each Board and references to content we do not have anymore. The site is very large so when you come across something that is no more please let me know.
Discussions International and KISS
Cool with all the changes and stuff but I was kind of surprised with fp being taken away. How will we get the avatars in games or upgrade our character?
KISS & International Discussions
Things like choosing an Avatar for your character will be free or just require a certain Post count. We felt that FP was a poor factor in determining what features a Member should get and our emphasis now is more on actual Discussion rather than whimsical stuff that FP was built up around.

* Birthday signs and symbols - can be seen by all in Profile
* Sports teams - everyone can select them and see them via profile. They have been removed from Posts
* Contact Icons In Posts - Only Upgraded Members usd to see it but it does not make sense because it can be seen via Profile and Donators can make private contact anyway.
* Profile Changes - The Profile page has downsized showing only the information related to what is available and not all the past extra features. You will also find the sameis true for pages where you Update your Profile.
* Custom Fields - There were many, and with the role-playing games it did not make it any better. We have removed the ones that were not really that important such as:
-- Mood: We will read your emotional state from your Posts / Blog
-- Brain: We will detect that from your ability to Constructively participate
-- ShopProfileMIDI: We no longer offer music on Profiles because there is no Shop to get it
-- My Buddy: If you really have someone that you like here I guess we will know it from your Posts in their Intro Thread
-- Comeliness: You can always show us via the Forum Gallery and we will be the judge
-- Favorite Sport: Tell us about it in the International Sports Board
-- Looking: We really do not cater for Singles anymore so having this detailed makes no sense
-- Exercise: You can tell us about it in the Health & Fitness Board
-- Chat: There is no longer a global Chat option so no sense asking you about it
-- Ebay: Not really promoting this anyway
