Phoolmatee, 36, was strangled to death by Rambarran at their 146 Demerara Road, Wallerfield, home sometime on Tuesday. Rambarran later took his life by ingesting a poisonous substance.
The two were discovered dead around 5 p.m. By their 15-year-old daughter, Amy, shortly after she returned home from school. Rambarran reportedly killed his wife, then dropped their two-year-old and his seven-year-old brother, Ronaldo, at a nearby relative's house before returning home to take his own life.
