Second Ga. Police officer has died a day after being shot while responding to a domestic call
Campus police officer Jody Smith died Thursday after being shot Wednesday in Americus, Ga., about 130 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia Southwestern State University president Charles Patterson said. After a manhunt, authorities confirmed that Minquell Kennedy Lembrick, who was wanted for the attack, was found dead Thursday. Americus Police officer Nick Smarr, Smith's friend since childhood, died in the attack on Wednesday. Ref. USAToday.
I think it is sad that many people think it is ok to make a call to police just to get a officer to respond so that they can ambush them and try to kill them. This is not getting rid of bad officers but getting rid of a lot of very good hard working men and women who happen to be police officers. The fact that they are still out there trying to do their job is a statement in of itself. How many of you would go to work every day if you knew that people are out there specifically targeting your work?
Were are the protest against the killing of law enforcement? If this was two Black males in succession like this there would be protests, burning cars, etc.

No I do not believe they look it that way. This was an attack on law enforcement officers. It does not matter the color of the officer it just matters that they were police officers and everyone knows that police officers are bad news and needs to be killed. Just like all Muslims are terrorists, all blacks are criminals. This is the type of thinking that needs to stop.
