It wasn't okay for Hillary to do what she did, it wasn't okay for Mike Pence to do what he did, and it isn't okay for Trump to handle classified documents in public spaces with a bunch of nonclearanced civilians like he has been
The fact that they're all getting a pass on it is rather deplorable.
Let me put it this way, my father has a security clearance, dealing with secrets of considerably less importance than what the secretary of state handles. In the latest security brief, he and others were specifically informed that if they pulled a stunt like clinton did, they'd be spending the rest of their lives in jail. It is illegal, it has always been illegal, and ignorance of the law concerning such cases has never been an acceptable excuse given the frequency of the reminders given.

Yes I agree it is deplorable what they did but you have to remember that Ms. Clinton gave the whole world our nuclear response time in a open debate. Now I understand that yes she had that information but she had no clue and I believe still has no clue to what keeping a secret is. I however do not know if Mr. Pence is that bad. IF he is then he needs to get educated.
Everyone has been thinking all this time that Mike Pence is the straight up super hero to the rescue for Trump and the GOPs but now they must be saying he is only human and a politician.

Vice President Mike Pence defended his use of a personal email account to conduct state business while he was Indiana's governor, saying "There's no comparison" between his situation and the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server that rocked the 2016 presidential campaign.
"There's no comparison whatsoever," Pence said following an event he did with House Speaker Paul Ryan in Janesville, Wisconsin, when asked about whether his situation gave him any sympathy for the Democratic presidential nominee.
Pence used a personal email when he discussed issues like the resettling of Syrian refugees and other matters on an AOL account that was hacked in a phishing scam, according to emails released Thursday. Ref. CNN.
Okay, there really is nothing to this. Mike Pence used an AOL account while he was a Governor. He wasn't talking about classified information with anyone, nor was his account kept on a server which decided to set up in his house so he could keep complete control of all of his emails and scrub them out of existence in the event anyone ever wanted to read them. He was not covered by the law that required Hillary Clinton, as SECSTATE, to use US Government accounts.
I could be wrong but everything about what Hillary Clinton did reeks to me of someone who tried to hide her personal correspondence just in case she ever wrote something illegal. Oh, and she ended up splashing classified emails onto her personal server, which is not protected like Government classified networks. And her explanation that she didn't know what those arcane markings are is ludicrous. I've gone through the briefing she had and those arcane markings are explained very well.
On the other hand, what Mike Pence did is completely different. He had an AOL account. He didn't have complete control of those emails, so he couldn't scrub them out of existence like Hillary Clinton did. That all of this is coming out in a slow, almost times trickle is concerning to me. I'm not a conspiracy kind of guy, but I smell some kid of Democrat operation here to discredit President trump. I hope I'm wrong. But if I'm right this is something every American should worry about.
