While it is important for kids to be social face to face in person. I think it is inaccurate to say video games are not a social thing. More and more video games are increasing and improving the ways in which you can interact with others.
Further if this study were done in roman times.
(Some say was one of our most revolutionary in culture and technology.)
I think you would find their games much more disturbing.
