· New Year's Eve activities (Friday, December 31, 2004):

· New Year's Eve Dance, held at the South Pasadena building @ 1919 Huntington Dr., South Pasadena. In December, instead of a $3 3rd Saturday dance, there will be a $10 New Year's Eve dance on December 31 from 9:00 pm to 12:30 am. - MAP

· New Year's Eve Multi-Stake Dance, 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. Join the Party! The Dancing DJ's will provide music. Cost: $10.00 Event location: San Diego Stake Center, 4195 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego, CA - MAP

· The Regional Single Adults Council presents The First Annual New Year's Eve Gala. 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Sponsored by the Ventura, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and Newbury Park Stakes. Music and entertainment provided by "The Vinyls" - Vintage Rock 'n' Roll. Bring in the new year while socializing among friends, complete with music, games, food, and dancing. An elegant evening of decorations, hats, noisemakers, midnight countdown, scrumptious buffet with shrimp and cheesecake, and kisses! Dance on over 10,000 sq. feet of dance floor at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center that is chock full of elegance and atmosphere. SEE YOU THERE. DANCING FRIDAY 12/31/04 will be from 9:00 - 1:00. From the Lake Elsinore/Temecula: At the junction of the 215N and highway 74 turn off and go east towards Hemet. 74 turns into Florida once in Hemet. At Columbia (red light) turn left. Dead ends into Park Hill blvd. Turn right up the street on the left.

From Beaumont/Yucaipa/Cherry Valley: At the junction of the 10E and 79 turn off and go south towards Hemet. 79 turns into Sanderson once in Hemet. At Esplanade turn Left (East), at Hewitt turn right follow around curve. Bldg is on left side of the street.

MIDWEST ACTIVITIES FOR VALENTINE'S DAY


For those in the midwest and those who would liKe to travel to the
midwest Here are 3 different February activities:

Once again the Dayton Ohio Stake is sponsoring a Regional Single
Adult Dance on February 5th, 7pm to 11pm at the Centerville building
and you are all invited.

Come with us to El Dorado Nature Center to participate in National
Bird Count Weekend. Bring binoculars if you have them. No prior
experience required. about $6 to park. This is a family activity.

Great Backyard Bird Count. Through the Cornell lab of Ornithology, the
annual Great Backyard Bird Count is a great way for expert and amateur
birders alike to contribute information to a nation-wide study on the
wintering habits of birds. All you have to do is come for a walk on
the trails of the Nature Center, count the birds you see and have your
data entered onto the GBBC website. We'll have a naturalist on site to
help you get started. It's a fun way to make a valuable contribution
to protecting wildlife in our world. Friday, Feb 18 and Saturday, Feb
19 from 10am to 2pm.
