Gore's Message To Climate Change Skeptics
Gore is actually saying that if you disagree that Global Warming is primarily manmade, then it is akin to believing the world is flat.
How can we debate anything if a answer to a sceptic is "I don't want to talk about facts, I just want to call you a flat Earther"
There are many scientists today, with much greater credentials then Al Gore, That do not believe that Global Warming is Man made or that it is a part of a natural cycle.
There are scientists that have very strong evidence that Global warming is:
A result of the natural fluctuations of the Sun.
or
We are coming out of a Mini Ice age and that warming is a natural.
or
Climate models are not accurate the farther we go back. We are comparing 100 years to the entire history of the Earth, Essentially having a very small sampling of temperatures compared to the 1000's or millions of years that have past.
The Debate is not over, just because a Nobel Peace Laureate(not necessarily a distinctive group, Arafat was one also) says so.
Update: The Antarctic Ice Sheet is Growing Thicker
Forgot to add this.

Ah! At last! A breath of fresh air. It wasn't long ago on this thread that a person said, "Global warming is a fact and THAT"S THE END OF THE ARGUMENT!
The worm is turning, but now they have government convinced that we (the USA) are at fault and the only way to fix it is throw government tax money at the "problem." I know where this is going and I don't even want to think about it.

Here is another indication that the Global warming scare is over-hyped.
Global warming 'dips this year'
This article actually states that:

Nature's carbon balance confirmed
Scientists find evidence that a natural feedback mechanism regulated CO2 for hundreds of thousands of years.

Looking at all the facts on this I will say I am partially on the fence and partial off it in favor of global warming. I am taking into account the ice core samples from drilling deep into the ice around antarctica. I do believe there is a more elevated concentration of CO2 in the air then any of the samples of ice over a period of many many years. We are not just talking 100 years here now. SOme of these cores go back a thousand years. Granted that is still a small amount of time but it is giving us more to look at.
On the other hand I feel a lot of these scientist are not taking enough time to compare things well enough to come up with some the hyper- sensitive headlines they are making.
