In my humble opinion global warming will come naturally but we are just accelerating out death. But it will come either way..

I am sure that most of us have heard about the new "Clean Energy Act" that passed the House of Representatives recently. The conservative talk shows, blogs, and other interested parties are very disturbed by it, as it is actually a very heavy tax on everyone, and will only serve to enrich people like Al Gore.

Anyway, here is a little bit of information about it from a perspective other than the political.

This is just what we need in a poor economy. Close down nearly 20 percent of the manufacturing in the country. No wonder Nancy Pelosi pushed the bill through so quickly that nobody had a chance to even read it.

What's worst is they do all of this and it has little to no impact on global warming because this is just what the earth does, go through the motions regardless to what we do. Granted there are certain situations that may warrant the government stopping waste dumping or chemical output that affects neighborhoods but all the rest is a farce, a means to profit through another form of exploitation: people's pockets.

Global Warming...55 million years ago?

Another little nugget of information for you: SUV's (allegedly) did not exist 55 million years ago BUT, according to scientists, they've found that there was indeed massive global warming 55 million years ago here on Earth. This little revelation prompted one scientist to wonder if all the current climate models are completely wrong. Time for Al Gore to fire up the propaganda machine and discredit another scientist! Here is a Google search of "coldest June" "on record" - several places in the USA are marking this year's June and July as the "coolest" or "coldest" since the 1950s and 60s. Chicago, New York, Boston, New Hampshire, Arizona, Billings, etc. Also, New Zealand had a cold May.

So, which is it? Global warming, or global cooling? I think Carbon-trader Al needs to explain himself (again).

Farseer, they fixed that when they started noticing that the average temperatures have been decreasing for a couple of years. We now refer to it affectionately as Climate Change...and have done away with Global Warming.

Strangely enough, the proponents of Global Warming and Climate Change say that the recent cooling is also evidence of green house gas effects. So basically, if the temperature goes up...it is green house gases. If it goes down, it is green house gases. If it were to remain constant, I suspect that they would claim their programs are working.
